Azure Latch: How to Get Mastery Aiku

Mastery Aiku unlocks through Azure Latch’s XP-based mastery system, so you build progress by equipping the base Aiku Style and clearing set tasks.

Mastery Aiku is the upgraded form of the base Aiku Style in Azure Latch, and it works differently from earlier mastery unlocks. There is no riddle-based questline to chase like Mastery Lorenzo or NEL Isagi. Instead, you build Mastery XP over time by playing matches and hitting specific in-game objectives.

Quick answer: Own the base Aiku Style, equip it, then earn Mastery XP by completing Aiku’s style-specific tasks (such as landing Reflex Tackle and scoring with Former Striker) plus global tasks that count from any style. Hit the XP milestones and the Mastery Aiku rewards unlock automatically.

Get the base Aiku Style first

You cannot start earning Aiku mastery progress until you own the base Aiku Style. It is a Mythic-tier roll, so you have to spin for it in the shop rather than buy it directly.

Open the Menu to bring up the main Shop, then head to the Styles section. Each spin costs $250 and the result is random, so expect to roll multiple times before Aiku appears. You can play Azure Latch on Roblox to access the shop and start rolling.

Keep spinning until Aiku drops. Under default Luck conditions the Aiku Style has a drop rate of 4.7%, which is far more forgiving than a World Class roll but can still take several attempts. Redeemable Azure Latch codes are a reliable way to top up your in-game money if you run short of cash for spins.

How the Aiku mastery XP system works

Once you own Aiku, the mastery unlock runs on Experience Points. Equip the base Aiku Style and play normally. Every qualifying action feeds XP into the Aiku mastery track, and each milestone you cross hands out rewards tied to the Style, including emotes and badges, on the way to unlocking Mastery Aiku itself.

XP comes from two categories. Style-specific tasks only count while you have Aiku equipped and reward the most XP per action. Global tasks count no matter which Style you are using, but they hand out much smaller amounts, so leaving Aiku equipped is the fastest route.

Style-specific mastery tasks (Aiku equipped)

TaskXP
Venom Deflect vs Enemy Ball50 XP
Reflex Tackle50 XP
Reflex Tackle v Iframes75 XP
Former Striker (Goal)100 XP
Steal Flow150 XP
Ultimate Defense vs Enemy Ball150 XP

Global mastery tasks (any Style)

TaskXP
Scoring a Goal20 XP
Volleying and Scoring from a Pass30 XP
Dribbling an Enemy15 XP
Tackling an Enemy10 XP
Saving the Ball10 XP
Assisting a Teammate in Scoring10 XP

Fastest way to farm the XP

The high-value actions are Steal Flow and Ultimate Defense vs Enemy Ball at 150 XP each, followed by Former Striker goals at 100 XP. Because these only pay out with Aiku equipped, keep the base Style on and lean into Aiku’s defensive kit rather than switching mid-run. Reflex Tackle triggers frequently and stacks quickly, especially the harder Iframes variant that pays 75 XP.

Global tasks are a steady background trickle. Scoring, dribbling past defenders, tackling, saving, and assisting all add small amounts every match, so you accumulate progress even when a style-specific task does not line up.

Note: Mastered Aiku is the first Style in Azure Latch offered as a pre-order, arriving alongside Update 2.15. Its full moveset details roll out with the Style, but the XP mastery track above is the mechanic that governs the unlock.

You will know it is working when your mastery bar climbs after each qualifying action and milestone rewards start dropping into your inventory. Stick with the base Aiku Style, prioritize the 150 XP objectives, and let the global tasks fill in the gaps until the Mastery Aiku version is yours.
