Candy Corn is the Halloween event currency in Blox Fruits, the Roblox game, and you earn it by knocking on doors. The doors open only while the Harvest Moon is up: a skull marker then floats over a house door in the Halloween event town, and the NPC behind it hands over Candy Corn. Our door gave 14. Level doesn’t matter here; we did it with a level 5 character in the First Sea.
Quick answer: When the Harvest Moon rises, press the pumpkin button under your compass. Walk to the door with the skull marker, press E, and choose “Trick or Treat!” to get Candy Corn (14 from our door).
How to trick-or-treat for Candy Corn during the Harvest Moon

If the active door is off-screen, a “!” arrow appears at the edge of your compass. Turn toward it until the skull marker is on screen.

Add to Google Preferences →What the Ancient Monk door gives you
Our door opened on the Ancient Monk, sitting among giant pieces of candy corn. Open the door and he greets you with: “One must learn to grasp inner peace, before grasping life’s sweetest rewards..” Choose “Trick or Treat!” and he answers, “Ah, so this is the sweetness you seek? Very well. Even the smallest joys hold meaning.”
Right after that, a banner confirms the reward: “Obtained <Candy Corn> (14x)”. The 14 Candy Corn went straight into our inventory.

Press E on the same door again and the game only says “It seems like nobody is home…”, with no reward. So each door pays once, at least within the same Harvest Moon. Once you have its treat, look for the next skull marker.

We opened one door, so the Ancient Monk is the only door NPC we have seen. Other doors may have other NPCs, or a trick instead of a treat, and may give different amounts.
Where Candy Corn shows up in your inventory
Candy Corn does not go into your Backpack. Open Menu, then Items, then the Stash tab; after our treat it carried a “14x” badge. The Backpack tab still read “No Items Found”, so an empty Backpack doesn’t mean the Candy Corn is missing.

| Field | What the Stash shows |
|---|---|
| Name | Candy Corn |
| Type | Material |
| Rarity | Rare |
| Location | Stash tab (Menu → Items) |
The item card says what the currency is for: “Used at the Halloween Gacha NPC to open the Halloween Gacha Box.” So the Candy Corn from the doors is what opens the Halloween Gacha Box. We have not found the Halloween Gacha NPC yet (we searched the plaza and the big domed hall in the event town), so we can’t tell you what a box costs or what is inside. Our Blox Fruits Halloween update guide lists the rewards the developers announced.
How long the Harvest Moon lasts
On our server the Harvest Moon rose at about 15:30 IST (10:00 UTC) on November 2nd, two minutes after the warning banner. At about 15:42 IST a banner read “The full moon ends.”, and the sky went back to a normal night, then day. That is roughly 12 minutes of trick-or-treating. We have watched one Harvest Moon so far, so we can’t confirm how often it comes back.
Because the window is short, act quickly. Head for the pumpkin button as soon as the two-minute warning appears, so you’re already in the Halloween event town when the sky turns orange-red.
FAQ
How much Candy Corn does a door give?
Our door, the Ancient Monk’s, gave 14. It is the only door we have opened so far.
Can you trick-or-treat at the same door twice?
Not in the same Harvest Moon, as far as we saw. A second knock only gets “It seems like nobody is home…”
What is Candy Corn used for in Blox Fruits?
Its item card says it is used at the Halloween Gacha NPC to open the Halloween Gacha Box. Candy Corn isn’t used in the Witch’s potion recipes; those take Pumpkin Bits (see our Witch potion recipes).
Do you need a high level to get Candy Corn?
No. We got our 14 Candy Corn on a level 5 character in the First Sea. New to the game? Our Blox Fruits beginner guide covers the first hour.
