Blox Fruits: How to Complete All 3 Prison Island Secrets

Every step for the escaped prisoners, the Cell Block Key cloak, and the Awakened Warden lever order.

Every step for the escaped prisoners, the Cell Block Key cloak, and the Awakened Warden lever order.

Prison Island got the same treatment as the rest of the First Sea in Update 30, and it now hides three Island Secrets that sit outside the normal quest board. Clear all three and the island shows three stars on your map, plus you bank secret levels that push you past the usual cap. All three run through one NPC, the Jail Keeper, and each one has to be turned in before the next unlocks.

Quick answer: Take the secret quests from the Jail Keeper, then defeat three Escaped Prisoners (raft, cracked wall, dug hole), grab the Cell Block Key behind the Warden’s spawn to open the top-floor office and beat the Megalo Guard for the cloak, and finally pull the wall levers in the order 2, 1, 4, 3 during the Awakened Warden event and kill the Lv. 230 boss.

Before you start: level range and where the Jail Keeper is

Prison sits west of Fountain City in the First Sea and is built for players between Level 190 and 250. The final secret ends in a Lv. 230 boss fight with extra enemies stacked on top, so bring something that clears crowds quickly rather than a single-target build.

Sail or fast travel to the island in Blox Fruits, walk through the main gate, and find the Jail Keeper standing in the grassy courtyard behind it. His menu lists the usual grinding quests, “Prisoner” and “Dangerous Prisoner,” alongside the secret objectives. Accept the first secret quest from him before you go hunting anything, because the escaped prisoners will not register otherwise.

Here is what the three secrets ask for, so you know what you are walking into:

SecretObjective
1. Escaped PrisonersConfront and defeat three prisoners scattered around the island, then report back
2. The CloakFind the Cell Block Key, unlock the top office, beat the Megalo Guard, take the cloak
3. Awakened WardenSolve the four-lever sequence during the timed event and kill the Lv. 230 boss

Secret 1: All three Escaped Prisoner locations

Three inmates are mid-escape in different corners of the island. Each one has a line of dialogue, and you need to trigger that confrontation before you start swinging. Walk up, let them talk, then finish them.

Head to the shoreline at the edge of the island and look for a wooden raft with a black sail. The prisoner building it asks whether you are going to grab a hammer and help. Confront him and take him out.
Follow the perimeter until you reach a cracked section of the outer wall. The second prisoner is leaning there, trying to break through. Same routine, confront first and then fight.

Cross to one of the grassy patches inside the walls, near the area in front of the quest giver. The last prisoner is digging a tunnel and asks if you are going to help him dig out. Confront and defeat him to close out the set.
Walk back to the Jail Keeper and hand the quest in. He pays out and immediately opens the next secret in his dialogue list.

Secret 2: Cell Block Key, the locked office, and the Megalo Guard

The second secret is a short fetch chain with an ambush at the end. Accept it from the Jail Keeper first, then head for the Warden’s spawn platform.

Go to the Warden’s spawn area and look behind the platform for a sealed cell. If the opening is walled over, hit it with a fruit move or fighting style ability until the bricks give way. A line of dialogue points out that this is Don Megalo’s cell.
Step inside and pick up the Cell Block Key from the floor. It goes straight into your inventory, no prompt to confirm.
Climb the main prison keep. You will take a mix of staircases and ladders to reach the very top floor, where a locked gate blocks the office. Interact with the gate while holding the key to open it.

Enter the office and interact with the cloak hanging on the chair behind the desk. That triggers the Megalo Guard, who spawns on you the moment you touch it.
Kill the Megalo Guard, then collect the cloak from the chair for real. Return to the Jail Keeper to turn it in and unlock the third secret.

Secret 3: The Awakened Warden event and the 2, 1, 4, 3 lever order

The last star is on a timer, and it is the only part of the island you cannot brute force whenever you feel like it. The Awakened Warden only appears during a rotating boss window, and you have to check whether it is your turn.

Travel to Middle Town and find the Secrets Master. He is the NPC who tracks which awakened boss is up next across the First Sea.

Pick the “Which boss stirs next?” dialogue option. He checks in the final 10 minutes of an hour, so ask then. If nothing is scheduled he tells you nothing is stirring right now, and you simply wait for the next window and ask again.
When he names the Warden, get back to Prison Island during the event. Four levers are mounted on the wall near the boss chamber.
Pull them in the sequence 2, 1, 4, 3, counting from left to right. Get the order right and the chamber opens.
Walk in and fight the Warden [Lv. 230] [Boss]. He does not come alone, so expect additional enemies alongside him for most of the fight.

How to confirm Prison Island is at three stars

Open the world map and look at the Prison entry. A completed island displays three stars next to it, and that is the only confirmation you need. If you see two stars, one turn-in is still sitting undelivered with the Jail Keeper.

Stars are the currency for the wider Update 30 system. Each secret across the First Sea is worth one, and the full set of 40 across all 16 islands unlocks the teleporter in Middle Town. The secret levels handed out along the way stack on top of your normal progression rather than replacing quest EXP.

Why a Prison secret does not complete

  • You attacked an escaped prisoner without confronting him first. Trigger the dialogue, then fight.
  • You never accepted the secret quest from the Jail Keeper, so kills and pickups do not count.
  • You skipped a turn-in. Each secret has to be handed back before the next one appears in his dialogue.
  • The cell behind the Warden’s spawn still looks solid. The wall has to be broken with an ability before the Cell Block Key is reachable.
  • You grabbed at the cloak and left. The Megalo Guard has to die before the cloak actually goes into your inventory.
  • The levers were pulled outside the event window, or in the wrong order. It is 2, 1, 4, 3 from the left.

The first two secrets can be knocked out back to back in a few minutes once you know where the raft, the cracked wall, and the hole are. The Awakened Warden is the part worth planning around, since it depends on a rotation you cannot influence. Check with the Secrets Master near the top of the hour, and keep the other islands’ secrets in your back pocket for whenever the Warden is not the one stirring.
