Blox Fruits: How to Complete the Desert Stone Circle Secret

Clear the sand off every carved stone near the Desert Island pyramid, then collect a large experience payout from the Desert Merchant.

Update 30 rebuilt every island in the First Sea and hid three Island Secrets on most of them. On Desert Island, the easiest one to finish is the ring of sand-covered stones sitting out near the pyramid, close to the water’s edge. All it asks is that you hit each stone until the carvings underneath are visible, then report what you found.

Quick answer: Attack every stone in the circle near the Desert Island pyramid with basic M1 hits until the sand is gone from all of them, then speak to the Desert Merchant in the village to claim the reward.

Where the stone circle is on Desert Island

Desert Island sits between Pirate Village and Frozen Village in the First Sea, and enemies there scale to roughly level 60–90. Dock, then head toward the pyramid rather than the village. The stones are a cluster of eight brown blocks half-buried in sand, set on the open ground behind the spot where the treasure chest and the hidden pyramid entrance sit. From the shoreline they read as a rough circle rather than a scattered pile, which is how you know you have the right group.

You do not need a quest item, a specific level, or any prior secret finished to interact with them. Walk up and start swinging. Blox Fruits loads the objective as soon as the last stone is clear.

Clear the carvings and report to the Desert Merchant

Equip whatever you already fight with. A sword, a fighting style, a gun, or a fruit move all knock the sand loose at the same rate, so there is no reason to switch loadouts for this. Basic M1 attacks are enough.

Any equipped weapon works on the stones — this run uses a maxed Cursed Dual Katana from the hotbar.
Walk up to the first stone and hit it repeatedly. It takes several strikes before the sand falls away and the symbol carved into the face becomes readable. The stone stays in place once it is clean.

Work around the ring and repeat on every remaining stone. All eight have to be uncovered. Circle the group once more when you think you are done, since a single stone still caked in sand will hold the objective open.

Head into the Desert Village and find the Desert Merchant. An objective marker points you at him with a live distance readout, so follow that rather than hunting the buildings by eye.

Talk to him to hand over the carvings. The payout lands immediately, and the star for this secret is locked in the moment the dialogue ends.

How to tell the puzzle actually triggered

Two things happen the instant the last stone is cleaned. A plate rises out of the ground in the middle of the circle and lights up, and an on-screen line appears reading “The carvings are yours to report. Take them to the Desert Merchant.” If neither shows, at least one stone in the group still has sand on it.

The two failure cases are both simple. Either a stone was missed, or you cleared the wrong pile of rubble somewhere else on the island. The circle is the only group that triggers the prompt.

What the stone circle secret pays out

The experience drop is the reason to bother. Turning the carvings in at high level chains several level-ups back to back, and these are secret levels, meaning they push past the normal cap. Update 30 raised the ceiling to level 3000 for players clearing these objectives.

RewardDetail
ExperienceA large lump sum on turn-in, enough to chain multiple level-ups at once
MoneyPaid out alongside the EXP
StarOne star toward Desert Island’s three
Teleporter progressAll 40 stars across the First Sea unlock the Middle Town teleporter

Desert Island’s other two secrets

The stones are only one of three stars here, and the island stays locked out of the teleporter list until you have all three. The other two run through the same merchant.

SecretWhat it involves
Helping HasanDrop through the hidden patch near the pyramid, usually marked by a treasure chest, follow the tunnel inside, and clear the enemies surrounding Hasan
Prickly HarvestBreak 10 cacti around the island for Cactus Flower Petals, then return them to the Desert Merchant for levels and a Lava Potion

Note: the Hasan tunnel and the stone circle sit almost on top of each other, so it is worth doing both in one visit rather than sailing back later.

Of everything Update 30 buried in the First Sea, this one is the cheapest star on the board. There is no boss, no timer, and no RNG spawn to wait on — just eight stones, a few dozen basic attacks, and a walk back into the village.
