Full written patch notes arrive once the update goes live, but the release timing and core content are already locked in. Blox Fruits Update 30 release date and time
Update 30 goes live worldwide at the same moment, so there is no staggered regional rollout. The date and time are confirmed through the official Update 30 event page, which has already passed a million interested players. Use the table below to line up the launch with your own region.
| Region | Local launch time |
|---|---|
| PST (Pacific) | 8:00 AM |
| EST (Eastern) | 11:00 AM |
| GMT | 3:00 PM |
| CET (Central Europe) | 4:00 PM |
You will know the update is live when the event flips to active on the Roblox event page and the game client downloads the new version. Once you load in, Sea 1 will display its redesigned islands and the updated HUD across all three seas.

What’s in Update 30
Two major pillars anchor the update. The first is the Magnet Fruit, a new fruit that builds power by collecting scrap and can transform its user into a robot. The second is the Sea 1 rework, which redesigns every island, updates NPC dialogue, and adds new optional activities on top of the existing quest flow.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| Magnet Fruit | New fruit with a scrap-collection power system and a Maximum Overdrive robot transformation |
| Sea 1 visual redesign | Every island rebuilt with an updated look and layout |
| NPC rework | All NPC dialogue options updated |
| Dealer showcases | Sword and Boat Dealers let you examine items before buying |
| HUD rework | Updated HUD and Stats menu applied to all three seas |
| Island Secrets | Hidden puzzles, interactions, and awakenable bosses across islands |
| World Map | Progress tracker with stars and unlockable island teleporters |
| Magnet Event | Magnetic enemy spawns that drop Magnetic Tokens for a special gacha |
How the Magnet Fruit works
The Magnet Fruit runs on a resource called Magnetic Power. You gather scrap out in the world to grow the fruit’s arms, which get larger across three stages. As the arms grow, your M1 hits harder and combos last longer. Taking damage drains Magnetic Power and can drop you back a stage, so keeping pressure off yourself matters.
A passive called Magnetic Pull scales through the same three stages. Stage 1 has no effect, Stage 2 pulls nearby enemies toward you, and Stage 3 increases both the pull’s strength and its radius.
Base moveset
| Input | Effect |
|---|---|
| Scrap Arsenal [Z Tap] | Fires magnetic projectiles that pull enemies in and stack for more pull and AoE damage |
| Scrap Arsenal [Z Hold] | Fires a laser beam at one target for extra damage on a hit |
| Magnetic Overcharge [X Tap] | Traps an enemy in a magnetic cage for a few seconds |
| Magnetic Overcharge [X Hold] | Fires a cage with bigger damage and larger range |
| Polarizing Drop [C Tap] | Lifts an opponent up, then slams them into the ground |
| Polarizing Drop [C Hold] | Automatically drags all nearby scrap toward you |
| [F Tap] | Grabs an enemy and unequips their sword on a catch |
| [F Hold] | Enables free flight; a hit cancels it, and pressing F in flight shoots your arms |
The Magnet Fruit moves guide goes through every tap and hold variant, the mastery gates, and the full Maximum Overdrive kit.

Maximum Overdrive [V Transformation]
Pressing V turns you into a robot that takes reduced damage. In this form, lightning attacks deal more damage against you than anything else, since you are metal. While transformed, the X and C attacks cannot be cancelled.
| Input | Effect |
|---|---|
| Scrap Arsenal [Z Tap] | Launches aim-assist missiles |
| Scrap Arsenal [Z Hold] | Fires a continuous straight-line blast, usable while flying |
| Magnetic Overcharge [X Tap] | Fires a blast that explodes in an area |
| Magnetic Overcharge [X Hold] | Pulls enemies toward the robot and damages them |
| Polarizing Drop [C Tap] | Pulls in a pile of scrap and slams it down for AoE damage |
| Polarizing Drop [C Hold] | Spins like a tornado to deal damage |
| [F Tap] | Grabs an enemy and unequips their sword on a catch |
| [F Hold] | Free flight, much faster than the untransformed version |
| [V Button] | Ejects from the robot, dragging enemies in before it self-explodes |
Sea 1 rework changes
Sea 1 gets a full visual overhaul, with every island redesigned to feel more lived in. Beyond the new look, several systems change how you move through the early game.
- All NPC dialogue options have been rewritten.
- Sword and Boat Dealers now let you examine swords and boats before buying them.
- The HUD and Stats menu have been updated, and those changes apply to all three seas.

Island Secrets
Island Secrets are hidden interactions and challenges spread across every island. Some are small puzzles that reward items like Potions, while others let you awaken hidden bosses. These quests are optional, and completing them lets you level up past the current level cap. Every one of them is located and solved in how to get all 40 Sea 1 secrets.
World Map and teleporters
The new World Map tracks your progress. Each island holds three Secrets, and every one you complete earns a star. Collect all three stars on an island to unlock its teleporter. The more teleporters you unlock, the faster you can move around Sea 1. How the stars, teleporters, and secrets feed into the new Level 3,000 cap is laid out in the Magnet update guide to island secrets and Level 3000.
Magnet Event
The Magnet Event ties into the new fruit. Magnetic enemies spawn across the islands, and some of them use magnetic abilities of their own. Defeating them earns Magnetic Tokens, which you spend on the Magnet gacha. This is an upgraded roll pool, so you cannot land Common Fruits from it. For the token grind, start with how to farm Magnet Tokens during the Magnet Event, then how to get Magnet Tokens fast for every other route.
Development beyond Update 30
Work on new fruits continues past this release. Developer progress has shown Gravity finished, Lightning partway through, and Creation still in early planning, which points to further fruit additions in later updates.

For now, the priority is Update 30 itself. Once the event goes live at the confirmed time, the reworked Sea 1, the Magnet Fruit, and the full patch notes will all be available in-game, and any Beli, fragments, or trade inventory you saved can go straight into rolling the new Magnet gacha.
