Cat Battles Roblox: How to Carry Someone

Two held inputs let you pick up any cat, but a draining stamina gauge decides how long you can hold on.

In Cat Battles, Cute Malt Games’ Roblox wrestling brawler, carrying another cat combines two inputs. First you grab the opponent, then you lift them, and from there you can walk them wherever you like until your stamina gives out. It works on any player you can reach, in the arena or out in the lobby.

Quick answer: Stand right next to a cat, hold right-click to grab them, then keep the grab and hold Shift to lift. Release before your stamina gauge empties or you drop them and collapse.

Cat Battles carry controls

The action list in the bottom-right corner of the screen shows both inputs. It labels them “Hold Grab” next to a right mouse button icon and “Shift Lift”. On phones and tablets, dedicated on-screen buttons in the Roblox app replace the mouse and keyboard.

Both inputs have to stay held. The lift builds on the grab, so pressing Shift alone does nothing to a cat you have not already grabbed.

How to grab and carry another player

Walk up to the cat you want to carry until you are touching distance away. Grabs only connect at very close range, and trying one from farther out is the most common reason they miss.
Press and hold right-click to grab the opponent. Keep the button held, because letting go ends the grab.

While still holding the grab, hold Left Shift to lift the cat off the ground. The opponent is now held by your character and moves wherever you walk.
Walk with both inputs held to move the carried cat around. In the boxing ring, that means you can take them along the ropes toward the edge.

You know the carry worked when the other cat is hoisted up with your character and a vertical, segmented white stamina gauge appears beside you. If the gauge never shows up, you only have a grab, not a lift.

Stamina drain while carrying

Carrying has a hard time limit. The stamina gauge next to your cat drains steadily for as long as you hold someone up. When it runs out completely, the carried player is released and your cat collapses for a moment, which leaves you open to whoever is nearby.

  • The gauge appears only while you grab and carry.
  • It drains continuously during the carry.
  • An empty gauge forces the drop.
  • Your cat collapses briefly after the drop.

Plan the walk before you lift. Grab cats that are already close to the edge so the gauge does not run dry halfway to the drop.

What the carried cat can do back

Being lifted does not take a player out of the fight. A carried cat can keep punching, landing hits on the carrier’s head the whole time it is held. Combined with the stamina drain, that makes long carries risky, especially once a match reaches “Sudden death“.

If someone picks you up, keep punching. Your opponent is on a timer, and the drop and collapse at the end of it gives you the opening.

Where you can carry players in Cat Battles

The same right-click and Shift sequence works in the match arena and in the open lobby area around Dr. Whiskers. That makes the lobby a low-stakes place to practice the timing on other players between rounds.

Edges cut both ways. Falling out of the arena eliminates you, and a carrier walking along the ropes can tumble off with the cat they are holding.

Treat a carry as a short, deliberate trip. Grab up close, lift, walk the shortest path to the drop, and let go before the gauge decides for you.
