Gems are the premium currency in Chop A Forest, the Roblox logging game from WCT Capital. You spend them on permanent upgrades, vehicles, and classes, which makes them worth collecting before you sink Robux into gem bundles. Two reward options in the lobby hand out gems for free, and trees you cut during a run can drop more.

Quick answer: Visit the Rewards stall by the lobby fence. Claim the Daily Reward for 35 gems every 6 hours, and finish the Group Reward checklist once for a flat 100 gems.

Free gem sources in Chop A Forest

Both free methods live at the Rewards building in the spawn area, right next to the lobby fence. One resets on a timer, and the other pays out a single time.

Trees broken during an active run also drop gems. If you want more of them per tree, the Gem Value perk in the Shop raises tree gem drops by 20%.

Claim the Group Reward for 100 gems

The Group Reward is the biggest single free payout at 100 gems. It asks you to support the game in three ways, then returns to the booth to collect. You only get it once, so it is worth doing early.

Walk to the Rewards stall by the lobby fence and step onto the Group Reward pad. A panel opens with three tasks and a Done button.

Open the Chop A Forest page on Roblox, then like and favorite the game. Both actions are on the experience page itself.
On the same page, scroll to the developer and join the group. It is listed as WCT Capital, and the in-game checklist calls it Studio Bricked. The group has 42.4K members, so look for that name.
Relaunch Chop A Forest, return to the Rewards booth, and open the Group Reward panel again. With all three boxes checked, press the Done button to collect the 100 gems.

You confirm it worked when all three checklist boxes are filled and the button reads “+100 DONE.” Pressing it adds the gems to your balance.

Collect the Daily Reward every 6 hours

The Daily Reward sits at the same Rewards booth and gives 35 gems on a rolling 6-hour timer. Step onto its pad and claim it whenever it is ready. When it is on cooldown, the prompt shows how long until the next one, for example “Come back in 5h 41m for your next daily reward!”

Because it refreshes four times across a full day, checking in regularly is the most reliable way to build a gem balance over time without spending Robux.

What gems are worth spending on

Gems buy permanent Gem Perks in the Shop, which stay with your save. Stepping onto the Shop pad opens these upgrades under the Gem Perks tab.

Gems also unlock bigger purchases. The Ridge Dumper vehicle in the Garage costs 600 gems and is permanent, while classes rotate at the Classes stall, restocking every 5 minutes. The Lumberjack class runs 180 gems when it is in stock.

If you would rather buy gems outright, bundles are sold for Robux: 100 gems for 24 Robux, 400 gems for 56 Robux, or 1,500 gems for 160 Robux. The free Daily and Group rewards cover the early perks on their own, so spending is optional for getting started.
