Control Resonant: How to Investigate Underhill’s Office in Central Executive

The “Investigate Underhill’s Office in Central Executive” step is part of the New Growth side mission in Control Resonant, and it moves the search for missing Mold researcher Dr. Raya Underhill forward. To clear it, you travel from Downtown up to the Executive Sector, work through the Executive Research hall, and reach Office 06, where a single document hands you the key you need next.

Quick answer: Ride the elevator to the Executive Sector, head into Executive Research, climb the stairs into Office 06, and read the Welcome Letter on Underhill’s desk to receive her Apartment Key.

What you need before starting

This objective becomes active after you recover Underhill’s resignation letter from the FBC outpost on a rooftop in the Park. That same desk holds the clearance you need to enter her office back in the Oldest House.

Route from Downtown to Office 06

Open your map from the Downtown area and confirm your position near Downtown 4. From there, run up the stairs into the building lobby that houses the sector elevator.

Step up to the elevator controls and select the Executive Sector. Some floors show as locked, so pick the Executive Sector destination to begin the ride up.

After the elevator completes its trip, let the doors shut and open on the Executive Sector floor. Turn toward the corridor ahead, then leave the car.

Follow the red-carpeted corridors of Central Executive, then drop down into the Executive Research area below.

Climb the staircase on the upper floor of Executive Research and enter the office marked 06. Your Clearance Level 6 Keycard opens the locked door here.

Collect the documents in Office 06

Head to Dr. Underhill’s desk. Two items sit here, and the second one is what advances the mission.

Underhill’s Personal Notes — a collectible document you can pick up from the desk.
Welcome Letter — the item that grants the key when you read it.

Reading the Welcome Letter grants Underhill’s Apartment Key automatically and shows that her home is at 140 Fletcher Ave. Dated June 13th, 2019, the letter lists Dr. Casper Darling and Dr. Raya Underhill, connecting the office to her earlier work.

How to confirm the objective is complete

Picking up the key triggers spoken dialogue and updates the quest. You will see a +1 Underhill’s Apartment Key reward pop, and the tracked objective changes to Search Underhill’s Apartment. The new entry notes that you now have an address and her spare keys, pointing you back toward the Park to visit her home.

Open the Quest Log to double-check the update if you want confirmation before moving on. Once “Search Underhill’s Apartment” is showing, the office investigation phase is finished and you can travel to the marked apartment building to continue New Growth.
