Control Resonant: How to Unlock the Full Manhattan Map

The full Manhattan map in Control Resonant stays hidden until you finish the short quest “Notes: Mapping the New York.” It runs entirely across a cluster of rooftops, where you calibrate three antenna sensors and then switch on the central mapping pylon. Complete it and the Downtown zones fill in on your map, along with a Talent Point.

Quick answer: Reach the rooftop marked by green flare smoke, accept the quest from Maintenance Worker Thorne, calibrate all three mini-tower sensors, then activate the central pylon to unlock the Zone Map.

What you need before starting

This is a Map Kit task. Every Map Kit works the same way. You calibrate three sensors placed on nearby rooftops, then return to the central pylon and switch it on to reveal that district’s map.

The quest hub is on the Manhattan streets and is signposted by rising green flare smoke on a rooftop above you. There are no items to collect or enemies to clear first. You only need to reach the rooftop and speak to the maintenance workers waiting there.

Reach the pylon and accept “Notes: Mapping the New York”

From the street, climb up toward the rooftop with the green flare smoke. Move across the walls and water towers to reach the top platform where the maintenance crew is stationed.

Speak with Maintenance Worker Amery first. He points you toward his colleague working at the main pylon.

At the station beside the central pylon, speak with Maintenance Worker Thorne to begin “Notes: Mapping the New York.” The prompt states the sequence: calibrate all three sensors before activating the central pylon to reveal the Zone Map.

Calibrate all three mini-tower sensors

Each sensor is a satellite dish on a nearby rooftop, marked by an interaction prompt. Hold the interact button at each one to calibrate it. The on-screen banner counts your progress, moving from 01 of 03 up to 03 of 03.

Jump onto the south-facing rooftop and use the first mini-tower dish to calibrate it.

Move east to the lower brick rooftop and calibrate the second satellite dish.

Use parkour to reach the fenced rooftop basketball court, then interact with dish three, labeled CR 28, to complete calibration.

Activate the central pylon

Return to the rooftop with the main pylon, where you spoke to Thorne. Power up the central pylon using its console; it broadcasts the map data throughout the district.

Confirmation and rewards

You know it worked when the “Zone Map Unlocked” notification appears and the pylon broadcasts. Your quest log updates, and the map fills in the Downtown areas. A radio call from Zoe follows, pointing you to the next task.

Your next marker sends you to Baker, the maintenance worker located southeast of the pylon. Press M to open the newly revealed map and plan your route through the Downtown zones from there.
