Crack Verity is a co-op “cracking simulator” on Roblox, built by RIVET Studio and released on September 26, 2026. The premise is simple and a little absurd: you and up to three other players are dropped into an underground lab, handed a hammer, and told to break apart a giant yellow entity named Verity one shell plate at a time. Within its first weeks the game pulled in more than 165,000 visits, riding the same meme-driven curiosity as the rest of the genre.
Quick answer: You crack Verity’s outer shell with a melee tool, grab the shards it drops for cash, dump them into a disposal pit, then spend the money on upgrades that let you crack and carry more.
Getting into a round from the lobby
Everything starts in a central lobby. Floor arrows point you toward circular launch pads, each marked 0/4 to show how many of the four slots are filled. Stepping onto a pad starts a short countdown, and once it runs out the group is sent down to the containment chamber together. You can play solo or wait for others to fill the remaining spots.

Add to Google Preferences →Tools and the Tool Wall
The Tool Wall runs along the chamber and holds every melee tool you can equip, each one stronger than the Rusty Mallet you start with. Most are locked behind progression, and the Sledgehammer sits first in line as the earliest paid upgrade at a cost of 600. The tools displayed on the wall are:
| Tool | Status |
|---|---|
| Rusty Mallet | Equipped (default) |
| Sledgehammer | Costs 600 |
| Pickaxe | Locked |
| Rock Drill | Locked |
| The Crusher | Locked |
| Verity Breaker | Locked |
The progression runs clearly from weakest to strongest, ending with the Verity Breaker as the final locked tool. Better tools knock off plates faster, which is the main thing holding you back as Verity’s deeper layers get tougher to break.
Upgrades at the Upgrade Station
A console in the chamber, the Upgrade Station, is where the cash goes. It splits into two branches. Tools covers swing and strike bonuses, and Hands covers how you collect and carry shards. Purchases are instant once you can afford them, and the station marks anything you already own as “Owned.”

Hands upgrades
The Hands tree governs collection and capacity. Deep Pockets I, for example, costs $100 and adds room to carry three more shards, which cuts down the trips you make to the disposal pit. The first tier of each Hands upgrade:

| Upgrade | Cost |
|---|---|
| Quick Hands I | $75 |
| Deep Pockets I | $100 |
| Big Bag I | $100 |
| Pit Magnet I | $100 |
| Strong Arm I | $150 |
| Magnet Grab I | $150 |
Tools upgrades
The Tools tree boosts your striking power and swing behavior rather than your carry capacity. Its first-tier options all sit at $100 each: Lucky Strike I, Wild Sparks I, Heavy Head I, Quick Swing I, and Sharper Edge I. These stack with whichever tool you have equipped from the wall, so the two systems reinforce each other.
Capacity and collection upgrades pay off early because less time spent hauling shards means more time spent swinging. Deep Pockets and the magnet options reduce the back-and-forth to the pit.
Co-op is the intended way to play
Crack Verity supports teams of up to four, and the design clearly favors grouping up. Because every player’s damage can land on the same entity, a squad that agrees to focus one target breaks through layers far faster than four people spreading their hits around. Solo play works, but the deeper layers are built to reward sustained, combined pressure.
The chamber also has a few environmental touches, including red TNT barrels placed near red pressure buttons. You can jump in and start a round yourself from the official Crack Verity page on Roblox.
Codes and badges: what’s confirmed
RIVET Studio has not published any public redeem codes for Crack Verity yet, and no official badge roster has gone live either. Several third-party lists claim specific badge names and rewards, but none of those trace back to the developer. The only badges worth treating as real are the ones that appear directly on the game’s Roblox page, where unlock percentages (if shown) tell you how rare each one is.
Because the game is only weeks old, codes and badges are likely to arrive with future updates. There is no confirmed date for either at the moment, so the safest move is to check the official game page after each patch rather than trusting outside lists.
The hook, ultimately, is the mystery baked into the name. Verity is presented as a contained lab subject with layers hidden beneath its yellow shell, and the “LAYER DISCOVERED” prompts tease that there is something at the center worth cracking toward. For now the loop itself, smash, sell, upgrade, and smash harder, is what keeps players digging.
