Crime and Punishment Arc in NTE: How to Get Blackbird’s Signature Weapon

In Neverness to Everness, Crime and Punishment is the S-Rank Arc tailored to Blackbird’s Psyche kit. It gives her a major Psyche DMG increase, boosts her Crit DMG after each Ultimate, and passes Crit DMG to her teammates. For Blackbird as your primary damage dealer, it’s the strongest Arc choice.

Quick answer: Pull the Crime and Punishment Arc on the Arc Research banner. The featured Arc is guaranteed within 80 pulls, and each pull costs 10 Tri-Keys or 1,600 Annuliths.

How to get the Crime and Punishment Arc in NTE

The Arc lives on the Arc Research gacha banner, which runs as a time-limited event. Reaching it takes a couple of menu jumps, and every 10-pull needs either Tri-Keys or Annuliths.

Tap the dice icon at the screen’s top-right to bring up the Fair menu, and pick any banner.
Tap Arc Research at the bottom-left. This banner features the limited S-Rank Arc and appears under the event’s name.
Spend to pull. A single 10-pull costs 10 Tri-Keys or 1,600 Annuliths. You need up to 80 pulls to guarantee the featured Arc.

If you need more Tri-Keys, get them from Hunter Exchange in the Mall. The stock comes in tiers, and each Tri-Key costs 160 Annuliths to convert.

Arc Research pity rules

The banner runs three overlapping guarantees, so the worst case is capped. That 80-pull ceiling is why you budget 80 Tri-Keys before committing.

  • At least one Arc of A-Class rank or above is assured every 10 pulls.
  • An S-Class Arc is guaranteed within 60 pulls.
  • The featured (UP) Arc is assured by the time you reach 80 pulls.

The results confirm your pull with a gold animation, and Crime and Punishment will show up in your Arc inventory. Equip it to Blackbird to access a custom weapon skin.

Crime and Punishment stats and effect

At full investment, the Arc carries high Base ATK and a strong Crit Rate roll. Its passive, Twinflight, is restricted to Gas-type characters, which is where Blackbird fits.

StatValue (max level)
ATK570
Crit Rate24%

The Twinflight passive increases Cycle Intensity by 72 and raises the wearer’s Psyche DMG by 20%. After the wearer casts an Ultimate, all allies gain 16% Crit DMG, while the wearer gets an extra 32% for 15 seconds. Casting again refreshes the duration.

The extra 32% Crit DMG only applies to the wearer, so the Arc pays off most on the character actually holding it during her damage windows.

Is the Crime and Punishment Arc worth pulling?

It is worth pulling if you want Blackbird as a main DPS. The Arc stacks everything her personal damage cares about, including Cycle Intensity for her Nova gameplay, Psyche DMG, Crit Rate, and Crit DMG. The high Base ATK also feeds her passive that records damage against enemies affected by Nova.

Blackbird can also play as a sub-DPS or support, and in that role you have cheaper choices. The free-to-play Good Boy’s Grand Adventure trades away some of her own damage for Charge Efficiency and a team ATK buff, which suits a purely supportive setup. Ravenous Blade works as a strong stat stick if you want her sub-DPS without her signature.

The short version: reach for Crime and Punishment when you are investing in Blackbird’s personal damage. If you only need her utility, save the Tri-Keys and slot a free alternative instead.
