Soulvester is a limited-time Halloween toon in Dandy’s World, and the Halloween Event update added three Holiday Quests tied to him. Finishing all three rewards the Golden Soulvester skin, which stays on your account after the event ends. The quests only count progress while you have Soulvester equipped, so you need to own the toon first.
Quick answer: Buy Soulvester for 700 Pumpkins and 50% Twisted Soulvester Research, equip him, then encounter Twisted Soulvester 10 times, clear 20 Floors with a Halloween Toon or Connie in the run, and block damage for an ally 10 times with Soul Shield.
Unlock Soulvester at Gourdy’s Event Shop
Soulvester is sold at the Event Shop run by Gourdy inside the Halloween Lobby. You cannot start any Holiday Quest until you have purchased and equipped him. Two requirements gate the purchase:
- 700 Pumpkins — obtain these by collecting them from floors, facing Twisted Soulvester, finishing Machines, and taking rewards from the Halloween login calendar.
- 50% Research on Twisted Soulvester — raised by collecting Research Capsules on floors where Twisted Soulvester appears.
During the event, Twisted Soulvester appears on Halloween Floors and on floors numbered in multiples of 5. These are the floors to use when farming encounters and Research Capsules. After you fulfill both requirements, purchase Soulvester and select him in the toon menu before beginning a run.

The three Soulvester Holiday Quests
All three quests must be done while Soulvester is your active toon. They can be worked on in any order and across multiple runs.

Quest 1: Encounter Twisted Soulvester 10 times
Twisted Soulvester can appear on floors during your runs, and each encounter while you are playing as Soulvester adds one to the count. Aim for Halloween Floors and floors that are multiples of 5, since those are the reliable spawn points. If you have a distractor on your team, they can lead Twisted Soulvester toward the Elevator so you log the encounter safely.
Quest 2: Clear 20 Floors with a Halloween Toon or Connie
Keep Soulvester equipped and finish 20 floors while at least one other player in the round is using a Halloween Toon or Connie. The Halloween Toons are Gourdy, Eclipse, Ribecca, and Soulvester, so a second Soulvester or any of the others counts. Short runs that end around Floor 5 or 10 and then rejoin are faster than pushing deep, since higher floors take much longer to clear.
Quest 3: Block damage for an ally 10 times with Soul Shield
Soulvester’s Soul Shield uses a heart to protect an ally: he teleports to them, takes the next hit in their place, and stuns the attacking Twisted for 1.5 seconds. Each block that succeeds advances the quest once; the total needed is 10 successful blocks. Soulvester gets a 1-Star speed boost while guarding, then a 3-Star speed boost for 2 seconds after a block lands.
Pair up with a teammate who is willing to stand in front of a Twisted so you can trigger Soul Shield on demand. Because each use costs a heart, bring healing items or a healer so you do not run yourself out of hearts before hitting 10 blocks.
Claiming the Golden Soulvester skin
Each quest tracks its own progress counter, and the entry marks as complete once you hit its target. When all three show as finished, the Golden Soulvester skin unlocks and can be equipped from Soulvester’s skin selection. That progress is saved permanently, so the skin remains available even after the Halloween Event ends.
