Darnassus Priest Trainer Location: Temple of the Moon Coordinates

Every priest trainer in Darnassus works out of a single building, which makes this one of the simplest capital cities to train in. There is no hunting across districts and no hidden back entrance — you only need to get to the south end of the city and then decide whether you want the ground floor or the balcony above it.

Quick answer: All four Darnassus priest trainers stand inside the Temple of the Moon in the southern part of the city. Two are on the ground floor, two on the upper balcony near Tyrande Whisperwind.

Darnassus priest trainers and coordinates

All four NPCs belong to the Darnassus faction and carry the <Priest Trainer> title under their name. The two on the lower level are the ones most players reach first, since they are only a few steps past the entrance.

Any of the four will teach the same abilities, so pick whichever is closest to where you land. Jandria is the usual stop because she stands right beside the pool and waterfall in the temple gardens, a short run from the door.

Route to the Temple of the Moon

Open your map and look at the bottom of the Darnassus layout. The Temple of the Moon sits in the southern section of the city, well below the trade districts, and it is the largest structure on that side of the map.

Follow the purple stone pathway south until you reach the arched entryway, then run down the ramp into the temple. You will pass through a pink portal-style doorway at the bottom, which drops you straight into the temple interior.

Take the left-hand side of the ground floor. Jandria is standing near the pool and waterfall at roughly 38, 82 — if your player coordinates read close to that, you are on top of her.

Continue past Sentinel Dalia Sunblade and around the central moonwell to reach Lariia on the southeast side of the same floor. Nothing here is behind a door, so you can walk the full circuit in under a minute.

For the remaining two, head up to the balcony and turn to the north side, where Tyrande Whisperwind stands. Astarii Starseeker and Priestess Alathea are both within a few steps of her.

The Temple of the Moon also houses the city’s mage portal trainer, so it is a shared stop if you are traveling with a mage who needs the Darnassus teleport.

How to confirm you found the right NPC

Click the NPC and check two things. The name plate should read <Priest Trainer>, and the gossip window opens with the line “Elune be with you,” followed by your class. From there, the train option lists every ability and rank your character is eligible for at its listed cost.

If the dialogue box only offers a “Goodbye” button with no training list, you are not a priest — the trainers greet every class but will only teach priests.

Where the other Darnassus class trainers stand

Darnassus keeps class training tightly grouped into three areas, which is worth knowing if you are switching characters or running errands for an alt.

The Cenarion Enclave is a cluster of three hollow trees at the northern tip of the city, near Craftsmen’s Terrace. Druids and hunters train up in the branches, while the rogue trainers sit in a cavern beneath the roots.

Warrior’s Terrace links the city’s two central trade districts across the pond. Its northern platforms hold the warrior trainers beside the arena battlemasters, while the weapon trainer stands at the south end.

Because everything priest-related lives in one building, setting your hearthstone or flight path with the Temple of the Moon in mind saves a lot of walking over a long leveling stretch. One trip down the southern ramp covers every rank you can buy in the city.
