Disney Dreamlight Valley used its 2026 Summer Showcase to map out the rest of the year, and the stream centered on two big things. There’s a brand-new, smaller kind of DLC called the Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack, plus a full roadmap covering every update arriving before 2026 ends. Here’s exactly what’s coming and when.
Quick answer: The Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack launches July 8 with Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore. A free Wreck-It Ralph update arrives in July, free updates follow in September and December, and a paid yearly expansion gets its own showcase stream in October.
Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack (launches July 8)
The headline reveal is a new type of DLC. The Adventure Pack is a mini version of an expansion, so Honeyglow Woods is deliberately smaller than packs like Wishblossom Ranch or Storybook Vale. The larger yearly expansion is still coming separately later in the year.
Honeyglow Woods is built around Winnie the Pooh, who was first teased during The Decay quest in Wishblossom Ranch. The pack lets you meet and befriend three new villagers, each with their own quests and exclusive rewards.
Beyond the characters, the pack adds new biomes, a fresh batch of Winnie the Pooh items, and several new gameplay systems. Here’s what’s confirmed inside it.
| Feature | Details |
|---|---|
| New characters | Pooh, Piglet, and Eeyore |
| New mechanic | Beekeeping |
| New meals | Honey-based recipes |
| New critters | Hedgehogs |
| New mini-game | Poohsticks |
| Areas | New biomes to explore |
Late 2026 roadmap
The second major reveal was the full roadmap for the back half of 2026. It lays out a steady mix of free updates and one paid expansion through December.

| Window | What’s coming | Type |
|---|---|---|
| July 8 | Honeyglow Woods Adventure Pack | Paid DLC |
| July | Wreck-It Ralph update | Free |
| September | Untitled update (likely spooky-season themed) | Free |
| October | Showcase stream for the yearly paid expansion | Stream |
| December | Untitled winter update | Free |
Wreck-It Ralph update (July, free)
Ralph is finally arriving in the valley through a free update sometime in July. He’s been a background presence since the earliest Disney Dreamlight Valley trailers, where he could be seen wandering around, and now he joins the village to reunite with his pal Vanellope.
September 2026 update (free)
A second free update is set for September. Specifics weren’t shared, but the roadmap art shows bats against a purple background, which points toward a Halloween or spooky-season theme. Full details are expected in August.

October 2026 showcase stream and the yearly expansion
October brings another full showcase stream, this time dedicated to the big paid expansion the game receives toward the end of each year. No concrete details were given, but the teaser leans into ocean imagery, with the roadmap promising a “deep dive” and the creative director saying players will “sail” into the second half of the year. Those hints suggest an underwater theme, possibly drawing on characters like those from Finding Nemo, though nothing is confirmed yet.
December 2026 update (free)
The year closes with one more free update in December. Like the September drop, details are still under wraps and will be revealed in August. The roadmap teaser for it is a frosty blue curtain, which hints at a winter theme.

Community house skin vote (open June 17–26)
The showcase ended with a new community creation project, this time a house skin. It works the same way as the Sakura Blossom Dragon community companion from 2025, where players vote on a range of features to decide the final look of the free house.
Voting runs from June 17 to June 26. Cast your picks through the official community vote page, and once voting wraps, the finished house will be added to the game before the end of 2026.
With Honeyglow Woods landing on July 8 and a free update cadence running through December, the back half of 2026 is mapped out clearly, even if the October expansion is still keeping its secrets. If you want to be ready, finishing the existing Olaf’s Grand Exhibition rooms and the A Tangled Web quest sets you up for the mysteries these upcoming updates continue.
