In the Norgandian Settlement, Ilda waits by a damaged wooden handcart, captivated by Vermund and its capital. When you speak with her, she requests three keepsakes from the kingdom in sequence: a Rabbit Pelt, followed by a Noonbloom, then a Courtly Tunic.
How to start Oh, to Be in Vermund
This is a Forsaken Dominion side quest added in Dark Arisen, and it needs the quest Chilling Tidings finished first. Ilda is also the merchant behind Ilda’s Sundries, so you will find her at her cart between the thatched huts of the settlement.
Speaking with her starts the quest and sets the objective to “Obtain a rabbit pelt.” The Deliver screen comes up immediately, with the Rabbit Pelt slot at 0/1. Without a pelt, your only option is to back out and look for one. Any Rabbit Pelt you already have will work, so check your inn storage in case you brought one back from an earlier trip through Vermund. Removing it from storage counts it right away. Each conversation opens the Deliver screen for one item only, but nothing stops you from collecting all three ahead of time.

Open the quest in your log, then choose View Details to see its map marker. Rabbit Warren is on the land north-east of Vernworth, with water between it and the city.

Fast travel to the Vernworth portcrystal, which drops you in the Merchant Quarter, then head out of the city toward the fields. You do not have to stand exactly on the Rabbit Warren marker; kill a rabbit in the fields outside Vernworth. Look near the wooden shed where pigs walk the path, oxen stand in the stream and the stone aqueduct arches rise in the distance.
Rabbits have a Health of 1, so one hit kills them. Stand over the carcass and use the Examine prompt. The Rabbit Pelt lands in your inventory and the quest advances to “Deliver the rabbit pelt to Ilda.”

Where to find the Noonbloom
A Noonbloom has a star-like shape and red-and-white coloring. Leave Vernworth to the north-west over the long stone bridge. Beyond it, a green headland lies left of the road and finishes at a sea-facing cliff. Descend the rocks there to reach a small grassy shelf below the rock face, where the flower grows beside yellow wildflowers.
Use the Gather prompt to pick it. This ledge is not the only place Noonbloom appears, so do not worry if you spot one elsewhere. If you would rather buy it, the Flower Stand run by Aella sells Noonbloom for 600 G.

Where to find the Courtly Tunic
After crossing back into Vernworth, go uphill to the Noble Quarter. The city map shows Watchhead’s Home in the Noble Quarter’s middle row, just to the right of the “Noble Quarter” label.

Climb the garden steps to the arched wooden door labelled Watchhead’s Home. Go through the stone hall to the room with a tall wooden cabinet and high-backed chairs. The tunic lies on the floor beside the cabinet with a Pick Up prompt over the name Courtly Tunic. Nothing is bought here and you do not need to speak to anyone.

Philbert’s Sundries in Vernworth also stocks a Courtly Tunic.
Deliver the three items to Ilda
Return to the Norgandian Settlement and walk to Ilda at the handcart. The Deliver screen is set to Specified Delivery Only, and each confirmation asks “Do you wish to deliver your selection?” with Yes and No.

Handing over an item consumes it permanently. If your Courtly Tunic is your sole copy and you want to keep one, find or purchase a replacement before completing the hand-in.
Rewards
Everything arrives at once, right after the Courtly Tunic is handed over. The experience and Rift Crystals are the real payout; the two materials are minor, since Ilda’s own shop sells Frigid Fungus for 300 G and Boreal Tuber for 500 G.
- 5,000 XP
- 1,000 Rift Crystals
- Frigid Fungus
- Boreal Tuber
Item reference
These are the exact figures for the three items, useful if you plan to sell spares or shop for replacements instead of hunting and gathering.
| Item | Weight | Sell | Shop price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.10 kg | 180 G | 600 G (Flower Stand) | |
| 1.20 kg | — | Philbert’s Sundries |
The Courtly Tunic is dress attire for palace staff and those calling at Vernworth Castle. Obtain one by buying it, taking it from Watchhead’s Home, or earning it as a reward for The Ornate Box.
