Awakened Devil EX is the Exotic-tier evolution of Azure Devil in Dungeon Lootr, and it is not something you roll for. It is a trade: a maxed class, a rare boss drop, and a pile of coins handed to one NPC. Everything below is the exact path from Azure Devil to the evolved version.
Quick answer: Level Azure Devil to class Level 50, farm a Devil Heart from the secret boss in Frostspire Bastion on Nightmare, then talk to Valen and pick the “Judgement’s Edge” option to trade the class, the Devil Heart, and 1,000,000 Coins for Awakened Devil EX.
Awakened Devil EX requirements
All three requirements are checked at the same time when you turn in the quest. You cannot part-pay or reserve a slot, so gather everything before you walk over to the NPC.
| Requirement | Details |
|---|---|
| Azure Devil at Level 50 | Class level, not player level. Azure Devil is a Celestial-rarity class from the normal spin pool. |
| 1 Devil Heart | Random drop from the secret boss in Frostspire Bastion on Nightmare difficulty. |
| 1,000,000 Coins | Consumed on turn-in. Valen pays out the same amount when you first reach Level 50 with Azure Devil. |
Azure Devil itself is the first bottleneck. It sits at roughly a 0.5 percent chance on a standard class spin, and the Celestial rarity is listed at around 3 percent on a Lucky Spin. There is no alternate route to it, so the evolution effectively starts the moment that roll finally lands.

Valen is the quest giver for the entire evolution. He is not in the main lobby crowd. From the spawn and AFK chamber area, cross the water and follow the path on the far side until you reach him.

How to get the Devil Heart in Frostspire Bastion
The Devil Heart only comes from a secret boss inside Frostspire Bastion, and only on Nightmare difficulty. The dungeon is tuned for roughly levels 45 to 55, so an underleveled character will struggle long before the boss is the problem.
Two separate rolls stand between you and the item. The boss has a chance to spawn at all, listed at around 15 percent per run, and the Devil Heart itself drops around 35 percent of the time when you kill it. Runs where the boss simply never appears are normal and are not a bug.
Turn in the Judgement’s Edge quest
With the Devil Heart in hand, go back across the water to Valen and pick “Judgement’s Edge” from his dialogue. The turn-in consumes the Level 50 Azure Devil class, the Devil Heart, and the 1,000,000 Coins in one action.
You get two things out of it. Awakened Devil EX is added to your class list at Exotic tier, and the Judgement’s Edge weapon is added to your inventory.

Aspect Gems are the other half of the weapon’s ceiling. Each one rolls a random passive buff onto an equipped weapon, so a second copy of Judgement’s Edge can behave quite differently from yours depending on what it rolled.
How to confirm the unlock worked
Open the Classes menu and stay on the All tab. Awakened Devil EX should now be listed there with the Exotic tag, and Azure Devil should be gone, since it was consumed by the trade. That swap is the clearest confirmation the quest completed.

If the option is greyed out or the trade refuses to go through, it is almost always one of three things. Azure Devil is not at class Level 50, the Devil Heart is not in your inventory, or your coin balance dropped below 1,000,000 after the milestone payout.
Awakened Devil EX skills and the Summoned Sword passive
The class is built around fast, mobile sword play. Its kit leans on repositioning rather than standing still and trading hits, and one of the movement skills can be chained more than once before it goes on cooldown.
| Ability | Role |
|---|---|
| Mirage Chase | Fast dash that leaves afterimages behind the character. |
| Spatial Divide | Multi-use attack, giving flexibility mid-fight. |
| Sky Clash | Aerial engage. |
| Lunar Phase | Core damage skill in the rotation. |
| Ultimate | Bound to the G key, saved for boss health bars. |
The ultimate is the payoff move against dungeon bosses such as the Bandit Chief and The Forest Warden. It is on the G key and is worth holding until a defensive bar is already broken.

The passive is where the class gets most of its damage, and it is locked at first. Summoned Sword unlocks at class Level 13 and gives basic attacks a 50 percent chance to call a phantom blade that deals 190 percent damage. Until you hit that level, the class will feel noticeably weaker than expected.

Note: because the turn-in consumes Azure Devil, there is no way to keep both classes from a single roll. If you want Azure Devil on hand as well, you need a second copy from the spin pool.
Realistically, the coins and the Level 50 grind are the predictable parts. The Devil Heart is what decides how long this takes, and with two rolls stacked on top of each other, plan on a long stretch of Frostspire Bastion runs on Nightmare rather than a single lucky clear.
