Enshrouded 1.0: Shroud Liquid Location and Uses

Harvest it from pale round growths inside the Shroud across the Springlands, Revelwood, and other biomes.

Shroud Liquid is an alchemy ingredient you harvest by hand from growths inside the Shroud. No enemy drops it, and you cannot craft it, so gathering runs into enshrouded areas are the way to stock up.

Quick answer: Enter a valley under Shroud in the Springlands, approach the light-colored, spherical growths scattered across the ground, and collect them. Each growth yields 1 to 3 Shroud Liquid.

In the item description, Shroud Liquid reads: “The liquified essence of the Shroud, harvested from enshrouded growths of the Springlands biome. The brown fluid emits a violet vapor and is used for many powerful alchemical purposes.”

How to collect Shroud Liquid

Begin with the Shroud timer full, then reach the closest Shroud-covered valley in the Springlands, either on foot or by gliding. When you enter, the bar at the screen’s top changes to “ENSHROUDED” and the countdown starts.
Scan the terrain and slopes for light-colored, spherical growths. They tend to appear in groups, so spotting one often means several others are close by.

Walk up to each growth and collect it. The pickup list shows “Shroud Liquid” as it goes into your inventory.

On our own run, one growth broke when we hit it with the axe. Holding E on the “Collect nearby loot” prompt then picked up what it dropped.

The pickup list on the left confirmed it as Shroud Liquid.

Later, we found a glowing blue growth under giant fungus caps in the Shroud near the Saline Quarry in the Springlands. Walking up showed an “E Harvest” prompt, and pressing E picked up Shroud Liquid straight away, no axe needed.

Leave the Shroud before the timer runs out. Shroud Spores, the other ingredient you need for Shroud Cores, grow in the same areas, so grab both on the same trip.

Where Shroud Liquid is most common

The growths appear across several regions, but not in equal numbers. The Springlands and Revelwood are the richest, so either is a reliable place to farm.

RegionHow many growths
SpringlandsThe most of any region
RevelwoodAbout as many as the Springlands
Albaneve SummitsA smaller number
BlackmireA few
Cinder’s CradleA few
Nomad HighlandsA few

Locked material chests can also contain Shroud Liquid, which gives you a second way to pick some up while exploring.
