Shroud Spores are an early crafting material in Enshrouded, and they come from a single reliable source rather than from plants or mining. Humanoid enemies inside the Shroud carry them, and one of the easiest places to meet those enemies sits just below Braelyn Bridge, where the terrain drops into a fog-filled valley.

Quick answer: Enter the Shroud south of and beneath Braelyn Bridge, kill the humanoid Shroud enemies there, and loot them. Each one drops Shroud Spores x2 plus Torn Cloth.

Where to find Shroud Spores

The spores drop only from the humanoid residents of the Shroud, not from the crawling insects or the winged bugs you fight on the way in. Those critters give Critter Parts instead. The upright, person-shaped enemies are the ones to target.

The spot used here is the Shroud mist directly south of and below Braelyn Bridge. It works from the very start of a run, so you do not need late-game gear or a strong character to reach it. A dirt path leads down from the bridge area straight into the valley.

Stepping into the mist starts the Enshrouded countdown, which begins at 10 minutes. Fast travel is disabled the whole time you stay inside, so plan to walk back out or let the timer force you out.

How to farm Shroud Spores below Braelyn Bridge

Travel to Braelyn Bridge and find the dirt path that runs downhill toward the misty valley below it. Follow it down toward the edge of the fog.

Step into the mist to enter the Shroud. The Enshrouded timer appears and starts counting down from 10 minutes, marking how long you can safely stay inside.

Push past the crawling insects and flying bugs and look for the humanoid Shroud enemies. Defeat them with your starting weapon, such as the Rusty Sword, or with a ranged option if you have one.
Loot each defeated humanoid. Every kill yields Shroud Spores x2 along with Torn Cloth x2, so clearing a few of them stacks up the material quickly.

Only the humanoid kills count toward your spores. The bugs are worth clearing if you also need Critter Parts, but ignore them if your goal is spores alone and the timer is running low.

Confirm your location and get out safely

If you are unsure you are in the right spot, open the world map while inside the fog. Your marker should sit inside the Shroud south of Braelyn Bridge, which confirms you are in the correct pocket of mist.

You know the trip worked when the loot notifications read Shroud Spores and the material appears in your backpack. Because the Shroud blocks fast travel, head back out of the mist on foot before the timer runs down, then travel on from there as normal.
