Cinder's Cradle is a region of Embervale that borders Albaneve Summits and Veilwater Basin on land, and the Ancient Gate is one of its named areas. It has 2 Ancient Spires, Cinder's Cradle – Sky Islands and Cinder's Cradle – Citadel. Climb either one to unlock fast travel to it.
Mother Flame's Domicile is the region's stronghold, and Cinder's Ascent is among its 5 dungeons. Its 6 Ancient Vaults are the dungeon entrances for Albaneve Summits, Kindlewastes, Nomad Highlands, Revelwood, Springlands and Veilwater Basin. Its settlements are Andromeda's Eye, Council Chamber, Island Ruin, Lift Ruins, Manathor's Plaza and The Ancient Citadel. Land Of The Sky Islands takes you to the Ancient Gate, the Heart Of Cinders and Cinder's Ascent. Activating The Gate To The Stars sends you through the Beacon Dungeons, starting with Springlands. Gathering Celestium, Star Signs and Vorgoth's Ruminations also bring you here.
You fight the Ancient S.P.D.R. Construct at 2 spots near The Ancient Citadel. Vorgoth, Champion of the Shroud, and Vorgoth, the Wanderer's Vessel, wait near Mother Flame's Domicile. The region has 9 Shroud Roots to fell and 2 Shroud Lairs.
Open 49 Gold Chests, 71 Silver Chests and 51 Wooden Chests, and pick up 10 collectibles and 37 lore pieces. Loraine Crim, the Ancient Researcher, sleeps at a soul statue; awaken them and summon them at home with a Summoning Staff. Mine 461 ore deposits and gather 307 Archaic Shards. At the 3 fishing spots, Cinderscale, Emberfin, Crimsonback, Shockfin and Sunscale bite.
