How to Get Glowy and Evolve It Into Goliath in Evomon

Glowy is a Light and Ground creature in Evomon that grows into Glowres and then into Goliath, one of the strongest damage dealers for both PvP and PvE. Getting one means traveling to a seasonal area, out-leveling a high-level pack, and then stockpiling the right evolution items.

Quick answer: Catch Glowy on the seasonal Floating Island, past the stone bridge, where it spawns at Level 140 to 145. Bring Grass, Flying, or Dragon attackers to beat it down before capture.

Where to catch Glowy on Floating Island

Glowy lives on Floating Island, a seasonal location you reach through the World Select menu rather than the standard map.

Press the map icon in the top-left corner of the screen to open World Select.
Choose Seasonal Island, then teleport to Floating Island.
Cross the stone bridge. Glowy spawns beyond it, with a Level range of 140 to 145, so level your team before you start a fight.

Because Glowy carries the Ground type, it takes super-effective damage from Grass, Flying, and Dragon skills. Datunymph and Frostseer both work well as counters, letting you weaken the creature quickly without knocking it out before you can capture it.

Once Glowy is on your team, feed it EXP Fruits to raise its level, and apply Trait Potions and Nature Potions to sharpen its combat performance. This creature rewards heavy investment because it becomes one of the best attackers in the game.

Evolution materials for Glowres and Goliath

Every evolution raises Glowy’s overall stats. You can keep using the base form, but pushing all the way to Goliath gives you the highest ceiling. The table below lists exactly what each stage needs.

EvolutionMaterials required
Glowy → Glowres10x Evolution Stone, 6x Ground Element Stone, 6x Light Element Stone
Glowres → Goliath30x Evolution Stone, 15x Ground Element Stone, 15x Light Element Stone

Evolution Stones come most easily from defeating summoned bosses. Every win earns Summon Tickets, which you spend with the Exchange Merchant to buy the stones. Island bosses and Ascent Tower challenges also drop them.

Element Stones come from bosses summoned on Ancient Ruins I, II, and III. You get a single stone for each boss you beat, so plan on repeat runs to gather the quantities Goliath demands.

Best Goliath moveset and team fit

Goliath learns strong skills naturally as it levels, and you can teach specific ones at the Skill Station. The build below leans into raw damage output.

  • Core Shock III (Ultimate): 200 Power for massive single-hit damage.
  • Radiance Cannon: 120 Power Light attack that hits every opposing target.
  • Quicksand: A Ground move that strikes multiple times and lowers enemy Defense.
  • Fighting Will II: A large boost to the user’s stats.

If you want more offense instead of a buff, swap Fighting Will II for Dawnstrike. Round out the build with a suitable Trait, Nature, and equipment to maximize its DPS.

Goliath performs best alongside Fire and Electric creatures. Its typing gives strong coverage over Fire and Poison enemies, which makes it valuable in Raids, World Boss fights, and Ascent Tower runs. The catch is the same weakness you exploited to capture it. When an opponent sends out a Grass or Flying monster, pull Goliath back and answer with your other attackers to land the super-effective hits.

Fully evolved and properly kitted, Goliath rewards the grind through Ancient Ruins and the summon bosses. Keep the counters in mind on both sides of the fight, and it settles in as a reliable anchor for your strongest team.
