Enhance Stones and Amplify Stones both feed gear progression in AION 2, but they sit at opposite ends of the climb. Enhance Stones are a Common material you burn constantly to raise an item’s enhancement level. Amplify Stones are built from Unique fragments and used to push a fully upgraded piece of unique gear past its normal cap.

Quick answer: Enhance Stones come from 100% boss drops and an 18% Silent Graveyard route. Amplify Stone Fragments drop at 99.9% in Draupnir and at 20% from endgame dungeon bosses, then combine into a full stone through Substance Morph.

Enhance Stones: guaranteed boss drops

Four named bosses drop Enhance Stone on every kill, across multiple level brackets, so they are the most predictable source. Which bracket you fight depends on your character level, but the 100% rate is the same throughout.

BossLevelsDrop rate
Ultimate Berk22, 45, 70100%
Divine Auldor30, 54, 72100%
Kromede’s Desire37, 63, 74100%
Transcendent Bakarma45, 70100%

You spend what these bosses give you in the Growth enhancement menu, where each stone lifts a piece of gear one enhancement level at a time. The upgrade registers the moment the item’s level counter ticks up on that screen.

Silent Graveyard: the 18% Enhance Stone farm

For a grinding loop, the Silent Graveyard holds the densest Enhance Stone spawns in the game, with several enemy types dropping the stone at 18% per kill. The spawn-point counts below are what make it worth the trip — you rarely wait for respawns.

EnemyLocation (spawn points)Drop rate
Grave Undead KnightSilent Graveyard (168)18%
Daeva Knight’s SoulSilent Graveyard (153)18%
Hungry DeadSilent Graveyard (150), Altgard: Nameless Cemetery (12)18%
Withered SpiderSilent Graveyard (132)18%
Soulless Corpse GnatSilent Graveyard (111), Altgard: Basfelt Ruins (22)18%
RafflesiaAltgard (117), Silent Graveyard (23)18%

Clear tight packs with an area attack and keep moving between spawn clusters. The high spawn-point density rewards kill speed far more than chasing any single enemy type.

More Enhance Stone sources: dungeon, extraction and sealed wings

Daeva Bio-Research Base daily dungeon

The Daeva Bio-Research Base is a weekly daily dungeon that pays out in bulk. Clearing Stage 1 hands over 9,000 Enhance Stones, and the Instant Clear option lets you collect additional stones without replaying the run. Open the Daily Dungeon menu and hit Enter to queue it.

Item Extraction from unwanted gear

Dismantling spare equipment through Item Extraction returns Enhance Stones alongside any skins the piece carries. Open the Item Extraction screen, select the gear you no longer need, confirm the listed rewards, and press Extract. This turns leftover drops into usable stones instead of selling them off.

Morphing sealed wings

Sealed wings earned from dungeons can be converted through the Morphing system for a large block of Enhance Stones, up to 10,000 in the global version. Check the Expedition list for runs such as Krao Cave that reward sealed wings, then feed those wings into Morphing rather than leaving them in your bags.

Field events and chests

Enhance Stones also arrive as event rewards and from loot containers. These are steady background income while you play rather than a dedicated farm.

  • Field events: Defend Shugo Merchants, Goldrin’s Treasure, Hidden Lugi, Jump Jump, Mysterious Track, Not This Tile?, Odyle Flight Frenzy, Up! Up! Up!, Wraith Evasion
  • Containers: Enhance Stone Chest (Bound), Superior Rift Bundle (Bound), Intermediate Rift Bundle (Bound), Lesser Rift Bundle (Bound)
  • Also from quest rewards, reward boxes, party dungeons, achievements, the battle pass and attendance

Amplify Stone Fragments: highest drop rates

Amplify Stones are never dropped whole. You collect the Amplify Stone Fragment (Unique) (Bound) and combine fragments into a stone later. The best per-kill chances come from one raid boss and the three Draupnir bosses, which drop at or near 100%.

BossLocationDrop rate
Eternal Ludra (lvl 75)Abyssal Forge: Ludra (10-player raid)100%
Transcendent Bakarma (lvl 45)Draupnir: Bakarma’s Subspace99.9%
Phantasmal Lakshmi (lvl 45)Draupnir: Phantasmal Sky99.9%
Predator Saraswati (lvl 45)Draupnir: Unknown Abyss99.8%

Eternal Ludra sits inside the Abyssal Forge: Ludra raid on Conquest difficulty, which runs for 10 players with a two-revive limit and a 120-minute cap. The three Draupnir bosses are the reliable solo-to-party route for stacking fragments quickly.

20% Amplify Stone Fragment dungeon pools

Beyond Draupnir, a wide spread of dungeon and field bosses drop the Unique fragment at 20% each. If a Draupnir reset is on cooldown, these give you a second rotation to run through.

Vakron Sky IslandTiere, Thamon, Vakron20%
Ferocious Horn DenWatchdog Kwapo, Necromancer Duanka, Ferocious Horn Nuakum20%

Deus Research Base and Vakron Sky Island are convenient because the same runs also drop Enhance Stones, so you build both materials in one clear. Deus Research Base scales by stage, with required gear scores of 1,600, 1,900, 2,200 and 2,500.

Combine fragments into a full Amplify Stone with Substance Morph

Fragments do nothing on their own. Open the Substance Morph screen from the menu or with Alt + H, then convert your stacked fragments into a full stone. A Unique fragment becomes an Amplify Stone; a Heroic fragment becomes a Splendent Amplify Stone. The finished stone appears in your inventory once the morph completes, which is how you confirm it worked.

Each fragment type can stack up to 1,000, so you can store them until you have enough to morph. After gear reaches full upgrade, use an Amplify Stone to unlock its unique power and raise it past the usual enhancement cap.

Buying stones and other sources

When you want to top up instead of grind, both materials have vendor prices. These are fixed costs, and the fragments remain bound after purchase.

  • Enhance Stone — 4,000 Abyss Points
  • Amplify Stone Fragment (Unique) (Bound) — 2,000 Abyss Points
  • Amplify Stone Fragment (Heroic) (Bound) — 2,000 Phantasmal Fragment, spent in the Nightmare Shop

Amplify Stone Fragments also turn up through coin shops, achievements, the battle pass and monolith content, so the shop is a supplement rather than your only option. For steady supply, lean on the Draupnir bosses for fragments and the Silent Graveyard loop for Enhance Stones, then let dungeon runs and daily rewards fill in the rest.
