FUTTIES Team 1 is expected to hit packs on Friday, July 24 at 5PM UTC, replacing Summer Stars with pink endgame cards.

FUTTIES Team 1 is expected to hit packs on Friday, July 24 at 5PM UTC, replacing Summer Stars with pink endgame cards.

Status: Expected (not officially confirmed). FUTTIES Team 1 is the first big batch of pink endgame cards in FC 26, and it is widely expected to drop on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 5PM UTC. It will replace the Summer Stars cards currently sitting in packs. EA Sports has not published the Team 1 loading screen yet, so the date is community consensus based on the Season 9 promo window and the Friday release pattern.

Quick answer: Set your reminder for Friday, July 24 at 5PM UTC (1PM ET / 10AM PT / 6PM BST). You will know it is live when the FUTTIES Team 1 loading screen appears and Summer Stars leaves packs.

Release time: Friday, July 24, 2026 at 5:00PM UTC (6:00PM BST)

FUTTIES Team 1 release time by region

EA runs Ultimate Team content on a daily refresh, and Season 9 shifted the weekly rhythm to Fridays. New promos land at the standard content swap time, which converts to the following clocks around the world.

RegionLocal time
US West (PT)10:00AM
US Central (CT)12:00PM
US East (ET)1:00PM
UTC5:00PM
UK (BST)6:00PM
Europe (CEST)7:00PM

Note: Servers tend to lag right at a big promo swap, so give it a few minutes if packs still show old content at the refresh.

Season 9 and the Token Store are already live

Two dates matter here and they are not the same thing. Season 9 and the FUTTIES Token Store went live on Friday, July 10, 2026, which is why the Store is already refreshing every Friday and paying out FUTTIES-themed rewards. That early content is separate from Team 1, which is the moment the first flagship pink cards actually enter packs.

The Token Store lets you spend FUTTIES Tokens earned through weekly play. The weekly cap is 1,000 Tokens per player, unspent Tokens roll over up to a season limit, and the Store refreshes on Fridays. Champions now pays a flat 100 Tokens per win, so three wins over a weekend covers an average Player Item.

Confirmed FUTTIES ICONs

Three FUTTIES ICONs are tied to Season 9 rewards and are the only names locked in right now. These are the cards you can plan around with certainty, even though EA has not said which ones sit inside the Team 1 pack squad itself.

Frank LampardFuture World Tour Completionist reward

A handful of other Season 9 cards are also confirmed, including Franco Mastantuono (National Pride, Season Ladder), Warren Zaïre-Emery (Phenoms, Premium Pass), and Martín Zubimendi (National Pride Evo, Future World Tour objective).

Leaked FUTTIES Team 1 players

The circulating Team 1 wishlist is long, and everything below is leak-tier until EA drops the official squad. The first three names on this list are expected to appear as FUTTIES Token rewards, while the rest are floated as pack cards, with more likely to surface through objectives and SBCs.

  • Victor Munoz
  • Antoine Griezmann
  • Thomas Muller
  • Claudia Pina
  • Pogba
  • Collins
  • Gabriel Silva
  • Luhrben
  • Lavogez

  • Chawinga
  • Ciro Immobile
  • Xavi Simons

Treat these as unconfirmed. Leaked names can change fast in the final days before launch, so do not spend coins chasing a card until it shows on the official squad.

What Team 1 brings and how to verify it is live

FUTTIES cards historically land in the 97 to 99 OVR range, often with single-league or single-nation chemistry boosts that make them heavily playable in specific squads. Alongside the new pinks, Team 1 usually opens with fresh SBCs, objectives, Evolutions, and the start of Best of Batch, which re-releases upgraded versions of top cards from earlier promos this cycle.

You can confirm the promo has started in three ways. The FUTTIES Team 1 loading screen shows on boot, the Summer Stars cards disappear from packs, and new Team 1 SBCs and objectives appear in the menus. If those have not changed after the 5PM UTC refresh, the drop has not gone live yet.

How to prepare before July 24

Cap your FUTTIES Tokens now. Hit the 1,000 weekly limit this week and next through Champions, Rivals, Squad Battles, Rush, and Season 9 objectives, because marquee Store offers on launch weekend drain Tokens fast.
Hoard high-rated fodder. The biggest FUTTIES SBCs demand 85 and 86 rated squads from day one, so keep your 85-plus duplicates instead of quickselling them.
Sell your hype cards while prices are high. Expensive non-permanent cards tend to crash once 97-plus options flood the market, so cash out before Team 1 lands.
Bank coins for launch weekend. If you want a headline card through the SBC route, keep liquid coins on top of fodder. A rough target sits around 300k to 500k for a single Team 1 SBC play.

Until EA reveals the loading screen, July 24 at 5PM UTC remains the strongest expected slot rather than a locked date. Prep your Tokens, fodder, and coins now, and you will be ready the moment Team 1 goes live.
