Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave – Speak With the Man the Woman Cares About

Find the Woman's Courter outside Dagsion's City Inn and turn in Knowing More about Him for 600 Gold.

Find the Woman’s Courter outside Dagsion’s City Inn and turn in Knowing More about Him for 600 Gold.

The Chapter 4 subquest Knowing More about Him hands you one of the vaguest objectives in Dagsion: “Speak with the man the woman cares about.” There is no waypoint on the man himself, and the Troubled Woman who gives you the job does not name him. He is standing at the market stalls outside the City Inn, listed simply as the Woman’s Courter.

Quick answer: Fast-travel to the City Inn from the Dagsion Base Map, turn around and speak to the NPC named Woman’s Courter under the stall canopy, then return to the Troubled Woman to complete the quest.

The quest goes live on 03/01 alongside the rest of the Chapter 4 batch, which includes Granada’s Thieves, Searching for Smithing Stones and Valeri’s Eight Fangs. All of those are picked up from NPCs rather than the bulletin board, so you will need to walk the city and the surrounding maps to find them.

Where to find the Woman’s Courter in Dagsion

Open the Base Menu and pull up the Base Map for Dagsion. The map splits the city into districts such as Arena Plaza, Shopping Arcade, City Streets, Upper Temple Row, Lower Temple Row, Hightown and Saramis Guesthouse.
Select City Inn under the Facilities list and confirm the fast-travel. This drops you directly at the inn’s entrance rather than anywhere near the quest marker, which is why the objective is easy to stall on.
Turn around from the inn door and walk out toward the market stalls. The Woman’s Courter is the NPC standing under a stall canopy just across from the inn. Interact with him to start the conversation.

What the Woman’s Courter tells you

The dialogue is short and entirely about gifts. He spells out what he likes to receive, naming ghosh and delicacies. That is the information the Troubled Woman was after, and the moment the conversation ends the subquest updates to its turn-in state.

There is no fight, no item to hand over and no second NPC to track down. If the objective text has not changed after you leave the conversation, you spoke to a different market NPC rather than the one labeled Woman’s Courter.

How to turn in Knowing More about Him

Open the menu and go to the Quest List, then switch to the subquest tab. Knowing More about Him should now be flagged as Turn In, which confirms the first half worked.

Select the quest entry and use the option to fast-travel to the quest giver’s location. This saves you retracing the route back across the city on foot.
You spawn in the plaza. Walk up to the Troubled Woman standing beside the tree and talk to her. The interaction prompt appears once you are close enough, and the conversation pays out 600 Gold and 30 Renown.

You know it worked when the quest disappears from the active subquest tab and the reward notification for gold and Renown plays on screen.

Using the City Inn’s Auto-Activities on the same trip

Since the quest already drops you at the inn, it is a convenient moment to set up Auto-Activities. The menu lets you assign units to tasks such as Search, and the results come back as materials, gold and EXP. A typical run returns something like Smithing Stone x3, Thry Fruit x1 and a small pile of gold.

You pick how many turns the activity runs before confirming with Perform. Setting three turns, for example, pushes the clock forward from Thursday evening to Friday morning.

Auto-Activities burn turns, so finish the quest turn-in first if you still have other Chapter 4 subquests you want to clear on the same date.

The 600 Gold and 30 Renown are modest on their own, but Knowing More about Him is one of the fastest entries in the Chapter 4 batch and costs you nothing more than two fast-travels and a pair of conversations.
