Fisch: How to Complete the Trident Striker Ritual in Desolate Deep

The Trident Striker is a harpoon gun locked behind a ritual hidden inside Desolate Deep. You cannot buy it directly. Instead, you activate five wall carvings and offer three Enchant Relics to open the Trident Vault, then pay for the weapon inside. It arrived with the Harpoon Guns update on August 1, 2026.

What you need before starting

The ritual has a few hard requirements. Missing any one of them will stop you from finishing it, so gather everything first.

Note: the pedestals inside the temple will ignore you until the Desolate Deep Bestiary reads 100%. Catch every fish around the point of interest before attempting the ritual.

Reach Desolate Deep and the ritual chamber

Equip Advanced Diving Gear and Flippers, then head to the Buoy north of Sunstone Island at coordinates (-790, 125, -3100). Dive down from the Buoy to enter the underwater route.

Swim straight ahead and avoid the mines scattered along the path. Take the first left, then resurface to arrive at Desolate Deep.

Once your Bestiary is complete, travel to (-1510, -223, -2569) inside Desolate Deep and jump underneath. There is an opening below that drops you straight toward the Trident Vault entrance and the ritual chamber.

Perform the ritual

Inside the chamber you will see a central pedestal ringed by smaller pillars, plus five carvings set into the walls. The carvings must be lit before the offering will register.

Take out your Harpoon Gun and shoot each of the five carvings, or cracks, spread around the room. Each one glows when hit. They sit at different heights, so search the pillars, the sloping rock faces, and the walls carefully until all five are lit.

Once every carving glows, the outer pedestals fall dormant and the three central pedestals stay active. Return to the central pedestal and use the Enchant Relic offer prompt.

Place three Enchant Relics on the pedestals to complete the offering. The ground trembles and a hidden staircase opens in the floor, revealing the entrance to the Trident Vault.

You know it worked when the system message reads that the darkness takes hold and the staircase appears. If nothing happens after placing relics, the most common causes are an incomplete Desolate Deep Bestiary or a carving you missed lighting.

Every fish caught with the Trident Striker has a 30% chance to roll the Atlantean mutation, which multiplies the fish’s value by four. It also has a 12.5% chance to automatically click a pull button during the harpoon pull minigame, making reels faster and more forgiving.
