FischFright: How To Summon The Giddy Ghost Companion

FischFright 3 is this year’s Halloween event in Roblox Fisch that began on October 17th, 2026. It brings a new event-exclusive area, new gameplay mechanics, and other activities like Rituals, among other things. You can also find new NPCs, fishing rods, and companions during the event.

What Does the Giddy Ghost Companion Do?

The Giddy Ghost Companion is a limited-time companion introduced in FischFright 3. It appears as a floating ghost when summoned and provides a powerful buff that makes fishing a bit easier. The companion shrinks and extends the minigame control bar every two seconds by one unit or less. Additionally, it has a low chance of triggering a jump scare that can drop a fish’s resilience to -100% for up to five seconds. This effectively prevents the fish from fighting back, making capturing it easy.

How To Obtain The Giddy Ghost Companion

The Giddy Ghost companion can only be obtained from the event area, and you need to complete certain steps there before you can get it.

Get To Caustic Hallow

Caustic Hallow is the new island where the FischFright event takes place. Follow these steps to reach it.

When you spawn in Moosewood, look for the ghost ship, the Reborn Flying Dutchman, in the water.

Find the Reborn Flying Dutchman in the water.

Climb aboard the ship and press E to talk to the Dutchman Captain.

Select the option to ‘Set Sail’, to go to Caustic Hallow.

Choose Set Sail when you talk to the Captain.

Gather Hex Energy For The Haunted Vacuum

To get the Giddy Ghost companion, you need the Haunted Vacuum from the witch NPC Beatatrix.

Equip the Candy Bucket from the hotbar at the bottom.

Click the Candy Bucket on the hotbar to equip it.

Go to the nearby houses and knock on the door for trick-or-treating.

Select Trick or Treat when an NPC opens the door for a chance to get Treats, which is the currency you need for the Haunted Vacuum.

Continue collecting Treats from other houses until you have enough.

Besides Treats, you can collect other ingredients you need for Beatatrix by completing Goblin Challenges when they become available.

Once you have the ingredients, head to the witch Beatatrix, who can be found straight up the path from where the ship dropped you off.

Beatatrix is located up the path from the ship.

Interact with the NPC and offer up the ingredients at the cauldron to generate Hex energy.

Continue collecting and offering ingredients until you have 65 Hex Energy. Then you can claim the Haunted Vacuum from the witch.

Start The Haunted Cemetery Ritual

To summon the Giddy Ghost, you need to trigger the Haunted Cemetery Ritual by interacting with the Frankenstein NPC.

Go up the path from where you first arrived on the island, past the houses, and look for Frankenstein near the Cemetery.

Move past the houses and look for the Cemetery.

Interact with the NPC by pressing E once you find him.

Reach Frankenstein and talk to him by pressing E.

Choose the option ‘I want to begin a ritual’ and work down the list of items until you unlock the Haunted Cemetery Ritual.

Once the Haunted Cemetery Ritual begins, you will be transported to a graveyard-themed map. This is where you will catch the Giddy Ghost companion.

Capture The Giddy Ghost

Equip the Haunted Vacuum once you spawn in the cemetery.

Search for the Giddy Ghost on the map, around the grave markers and tombstones.

As soon as you see the companion, click on it with the Haunted Vacuum equipped, and a minigame will start, just like when catching a difficult fish.

If you are successful, the Giddy Ghost companion will be automatically added to your inventory.
