The D-O Event is the most efficient farming window Droid Tycoon has offered so far, and almost all of its value comes from one repeatable loop rather than the reward track itself. Clear droids in the defense arena, hit the trust threshold, then sprint back to the Sandcrawler for a short burst of high-tier blueprints. Everything else — the credits, the upgrade chips, the free iconic droid — accumulates while you run that loop. The mode lives in Fortnite as island code 7865-8305-9184.
Quick answer: Earn 80 trust points by destroying B1, B2, and KX droids in the defense arena, then run to the Sandcrawler within the objective window to collect Stellar, Galactic, and Beskar blueprints for Epic, Legendary, and Mythic droids. Repeat for every 80 trust points.
Trust points and the Super Sandcrawler trigger
D-O infiltrates an Imperial base guarded by three droid types, and each one is worth a different amount toward the hack. B1 droids give 1 trust point, B2 droids give 2, and KX droids give 3. Once 80 trust points have been banked by everyone currently in the area, D-O finishes the hack and activates Super Sandcrawler.

The trigger is a threshold, not a timer, so a private solo lobby works fine. It also means the 80 points can be reached far faster by prioritising KX droids over the swarms of B1s. When the hack completes, the HUD swaps to a “GO TO THE SANDCRAWLER!” objective — that is your cue to leave the arena immediately.

Super Sandcrawler is short — expect somewhere between half a minute and a minute of glowing green conveyor belts — so travel time is the real cost. During that window the belt produces Beskar, Galactic, and Stellar variant blueprints for Epic, Legendary, and Mythic droids, with Rainbow variants appearing very rarely. Grab everything you can reach rather than reading rarities; you can sort them out afterwards.
Tip: line up your route before the threshold hits. Jetpacking straight from the arena to the belt costs a noticeable slice of a 30-second window if you have to path around the base.

Add to Google Preferences →Loadout and companions that shorten each cycle
Reloading is the main thing slowing the arena phase down. Carrying two long-range blasters and swapping between them keeps continuous fire on the droid waves — Captain Phasma’s F-11D Blaster paired with the DLT-19 Blaster Rifle is a clean combination once you have three rebirths. The Wookiee Bowcaster, combined with the jetpack, is the better pick when droids bunch up, since it clears clumps in a single shot.
For companions, Mister Bones is the default choice. Its 2x Damage perk speeds up the kills and doubles the credits you earn from destroyed droids, stacking on top of the event’s own 2x Credits multiplier. If you have the Double Companion perk unlocked, running BB-8 alongside Mister Bones adds Upgrade Chips to the same kills.
The event’s baseline bonuses apply the entire time you are doing this: 2x Credits, 2x Upgrade Chips, and 2x chance of crafting Flawless droids.
D-O Event reward track and trust level thresholds
The reward track unlocks in sequence, and each threshold is counted after the previous reward has been claimed rather than as a running total from zero. The Trust Level panel on the HUD tracks your progress toward the current one.

| Trust points | Reward |
|---|---|
| 400 | D-O iconic droid (speak to D-O to claim) |
| 600 | Galactic Surge Token |
| 900 | D-O Paint |
| 850 | Stellar Surge Token |
| 300 | 2 Nova Crystals |
D-O itself is not handed over automatically. Once you hit 400 trust points you have to walk up to D-O and take the interact prompt to add the droid to your collection.

The optional D-O Event Pass is sold by the Jawa at the landing dock for 300 V-Bucks. It grants 2x trust points and an additional +0.5x on the credit, upgrade chip, and flawless multipliers. It only applies to the D-O Event, but a pass bought during the first run carries over to the rerun.
Using D-O to halve fusion times
D-O is a Default Iconic Worker droid with a Half Fusion Time perk, a 15%/s worker rate, and a +10% Worker bonus. The perk has one condition that catches people out: D-O must be actively equipped as your companion at the moment you start the fusion. Equipping it partway through a running fusion does nothing, and swapping to another companion after the fusion has begun does not undo the reduction already applied.

The practical routine is to swap to D-O, load the fusion tank, confirm the shortened timer, then swap back to Mister Bones before returning to the arena. Long fusions are where this matters most — an eleven-hour Galactic Legendary timer is a very different proposition at half length.
Best fusion recipes for Mythic droids
Blueprints are only worth farming if you know what to build with them. Across the three classes, the standout Mythic results are Axl-Pod for Astro, Riv-3T for Worker, and X-Onk for Battle. Note that Low-Mo is a Worker droid in practice, even though the in-game recipe chart lists it under Astro.
| Result (rarity, class) | Recipe |
|---|---|
| RIV-3T (Mythic, Worker) | KX + IG + RIC |
| LUG-G (Mythic, Worker) | LOADLIFTER + ID10 + R5 |
| X-ONK (Mythic, Battle) | KX + KX + GONK |
| SRV-0 (Mythic, Battle) | Ric-1200 + B1 HEAVY + B1 HEAVY |
| AXL-POD (Mythic, Astro) | RIC + BDX + R7 |
| LOW-MO (Mythic, Worker) | A-LT + A-LT + LOADLIFTER |
| RO-TOR (Legendary, Worker) | BB9 + PIT + B1 BATTLE |
| FUS-3 (Legendary, Worker) | R7 + B-U4D + B-U4D |
| ORB-XL (Legendary, Battle) | CB + GUNRUNNER + B2-RP |
| QIK-BIT (Legendary, Astro) | GROUNDMECH + GROUNDMECH + BB9 |
| N-UL (Epic, Worker) | B1 HEAVY + GUNRUNNER + BB |
| SCRP-R (Epic, Astro) | GONK + GROUNDMECH + R6 |
| ARM-CORE (Epic, Battle) | ARG + ARG + B2 HEAVY |
| OPT-AR (Epic, Battle) | R2 + R2 + B2 SUPER |
| WHL-EX (Rare, Worker) | ARG + MOUSE + MOUSE |

Getting a Stellar Mythic out of a fusion
The fusion output matches the rarity variant of the droids you put in, and all three inputs must share it. A Stellar Mythic X-Onk requires two Stellar KX droids and a Stellar Gonk — mixing a Stellar input with a standard one will not produce a Stellar result.
That is what makes the doubled Upgrade Chip rate worth farming alongside the blueprints. Pushing a Common Gonk up to Stellar costs 10, 25, 40, 80, 120, and 180 chips across its upgrade steps. Cheap Worker droids like Gonk are the ones to promote first, because they appear in several of the strongest recipes.
Fusion tank and rush fusion costs
Running more than one fusion at a time requires unlocking extra tanks, and finishing a fusion early has a separate price. Both can be paid with Nova Crystals, which the event itself hands out, or with V-Bucks.
| Purchase | Cost |
|---|---|
| Additional fusion tank | 300 Nova Crystals or 1,800 V-Bucks |
| Third fusion tank | 800 V-Bucks |
| Rush Fusion (skip timer) | 50 Nova Crystals or 250 V-Bucks |
Because D-O already halves the timer, spending Nova Crystals on rushing is rarely the better use of them during the event. A second tank keeps two builds moving in parallel, which compounds over a 24-hour window in a way a single skipped timer does not.
Why the loop sometimes fails to pay out
There are only a few reliable causes when a cycle produces nothing. The most common is arriving at the Sandcrawler after the boost window has closed, which leaves you looking at ordinary belt output with no green glow. The second is starting a fusion without D-O equipped, which produces a full-length timer that cannot be retroactively shortened.
The third is a rarity mismatch in the fusion inputs, which quietly produces a lower-variant droid than expected. You can confirm each stage is working by three signals: the “GO TO THE SANDCRAWLER!” objective on the HUD, the green conveyor belts in the hub, and a fusion countdown that reads roughly half its normal length.
The D-O Event first ran August 29–30, 2026, with a 24-hour rerun over September 5–6. No further run has been confirmed. Events in Droid Tycoon land on weekends and most of them eventually receive a rerun, so the trust point loop, the fusion recipes, and the Stellar upgrade path are all worth having ready before the next one arrives.
