The Quack Zero Point Sprite is a Level 55 Mastery reward, and each other Quack variant unlocks at its own mastery milestone.

The Quack Zero Point Sprite is a Level 55 Mastery reward, and each other Quack variant unlocks at its own mastery milestone.

The Quack Zero Point Sprite arrived with the Fortnite v41.30 update on July 30, 2026, and despite early talk of it being an ultra-rare random find, it is handed out for free. You do not have to gamble on Sprite Chests to get it. It is tied directly to Sprite Mastery, which means anyone willing to put in the progress can claim it.

Quick answer: Master 55 Sprites, then open the Sprites menu and claim the Quack Zero Point Sprite as your Level 55 Mastery reward.

Every Quack Variant and Its Mastery Unlock

There are four Quack Sprites in total, and each one is a mastery reward at a set milestone. The Quack Zero Point Sprite sits at the top of the ladder. Three of the variants can also turn up out in the world, but the mastery route is the guaranteed way to add them to your collection.

How to Unlock the Quack Zero Point Sprite

Keep collecting and Mastering Sprites across your matches. Mastery counts toward your overall total, so every Sprite you fully master pushes you closer to the 55 you need.
Track your progress through the Sprites menu. It shows how many Sprites you have mastered and which mastery rewards are still locked, including the Quack variants at Levels 35, 40, 45, and 55.
Once your mastered count hits 55, open the Sprites menu and claim the Quack Zero Point Sprite from the Level 55 reward slot. After claiming, it is permanently yours and can be taken into any future match.

Note: Leveling a single Sprite does not change its look. Cosmetic variants are decided when a Sprite drops, so grinding one Sprite to a high level will never turn it into a Quack version. The Quack Zero Point Sprite only comes from the mastery reward track.

What the Quack Zero Point Sprite Does

The Quack Zero Point Sprite keeps the base Zero Point ability. Whenever you heal yourself, it automatically spawns a Shield Bubble Jr., and the bubble lasts longer as the Sprite levels up. It is a Mythic-tier companion, which is why the standard version shows up far less often than Rare or Epic Sprites.

On top of that base power, every Quack variant shares a passive tied to progression. When a Quack Sprite earns XP, all other Sprites in your inventory receive 50% of that XP. That makes any Quack Sprite useful for speeding up mastery on the rest of your collection.

Reach 55 Mastery Faster

Getting to 55 mastered Sprites is the whole task, so anything that speeds up leveling helps. A few things move you along quicker.

  • Use Quack Snacks to jump any Sprite straight to Level 5. They cost 1,500 Gold Bars from Mending Machines and skip the normal leveling grind.
  • Trade with squadmates. Sprites are fully tradeable, so a full squad can pool drops and hand off duplicates to fill out collections faster.
  • Keep every Sprite you find, even repeats. Extra Sprites can be leveled, mastered, used for XP, or converted into Sprite Dust.
  • Lean on the shared XP passive from any Quack variant you already own, since it feeds half of its earned XP to the rest of your inventory.

How to Confirm the Unlock

You know it worked when the Quack Zero Point Sprite appears as claimable at Level 55 in the Sprites menu and then shows up in your permanent collection after you accept it. From that point, its duck-themed design is instantly recognizable and the Sprite is available at the start of any match you bring it into.

Do not confuse it with the Duck Sprite, which is a separate Epic-rarity companion that restores shields while you emote or jam. The Quack Zero Point Sprite is still a Zero Point Sprite underneath. It just wears a duck skin and carries the shared mastery reward, making it one of the standout collectibles from the final Chapter 7 Season 3 update.
