Three fresh Sprites join Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 with the v41.30 patch, adding Peely, Llama, and the ultra-rare Quack Zero Point to the collection. They land during New Sprite Day on Thursday, July 30, 2026, alongside the update’s other content.
Quick answer: The v41.30 update goes live at 4 AM PT / 7 AM ET on July 30, and the new Sprites are expected to appear once the weekly reset runs at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET the same day.
Release time: July 30, 2026, 6:00 AM PT / 9:00 AM ET
Release status and timing for v41.30 Sprites
Status: Confirmed. Epic Games has locked in the v41.30 update for Thursday, July 30, 2026, and the three new Sprites debut on the same day. Server maintenance begins at 4 AM PT / 7 AM ET, so the game will be down briefly before the patch is live.
The Sprites themselves do not always appear the second servers come back. Throughout Chapter 7 Season 3, Epic has run its weekly Sprite reset a little after the patch drops, which points to a 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET arrival for Peely, Llama, and Quack Zero Point.

The three new Sprites and their variants
All three Sprites go live together on July 30. The Zero Point Sprite is the standout because it is the only one arriving with a brand-new Quack variant, something no other Sprite in the game currently has.
| Sprite | Variants |
|---|---|
| Llama Sprite | Additional variants expected |
| Peely Sprite | Additional variants expected |
| Quack Zero Point Sprite | Only Sprite with a Quack variant |
Peely and Llama are expected to carry extra styles to chase, potentially including Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, and Holofoil finishes. Those variants are not confirmed yet, so treat them as likely rather than certain until the patch is live.
What the new Sprites do
The Zero Point Sprite’s base power is already known. When you use a healing item on yourself, it spawns a Shield Bubble Jr. at your location. Splashes and grenades do not trigger it. What the Quack variant changes on top of that has not been detailed.
The powers and rarity of the Peely and Llama Sprites remain unconfirmed. Some players expect them to fall in the higher rarity tiers, but nothing official has been shared about their exact abilities.
Why Quack Zero Point could be the rarest Sprite
The title of rarest Sprite currently belongs to the Galaxy Zero Point, which has an extremely low drop rate. The Quack Zero Point is set up to challenge that, since it is the sole Sprite carrying the Quack variant. A single exclusive style tends to make a Sprite far harder to find.
Expect a very low chance of pulling one. It launches alongside Peely and Llama on July 30, so plan your hunting time around that reset window if you want the best shot.
How to get the new Sprites once they go live
You will know it worked when the Sprite is added to your in-game collection. Keep in mind the season is winding down and Sprites do not carry over to Chapter 7 Season 4, so there is no need to grind these beyond your own enjoyment.
