Genshin Impact: How to Find and Beat Furiosa Local Legend in Snezhnaya

Where to locate Furiosa in Everfrozen Earth and how to clear all three of her objectives with any team.

Where to locate Furiosa in Everfrozen Earth and how to clear all three of her objectives with any team.

Furiosa is a Local Legend in Genshin Impact who also serves as a World Quest boss, so she may look familiar the first time you approach her. She is the most forgiving of the three Local Legends introduced in version 7.0, because none of her objectives lock you into a specific team type. Any well-built party can finish her off.

Quick answer: Find Furiosa in Everfrozen Earth, Snezhnaya, just northwest of the Scars of Cursed Obsession domain beneath Snezhnograd’s Central Station. Defeat her, then interrupt her Arrow Shower and her burrow separately by hitting the Hindering Roots on the ground to clear all three objectives.

Head to the Scars of Cursed Obsession domain, which sits directly under Snezhnograd’s Central Station. From there, walk a short distance to the northwest and pass the train wreck. Furiosa waits in the open, ready for a challenger.

Furiosa’s three objectives

Furiosa has one Local Legend entry in Everfrozen Earth with three separate objectives. You are not required to run a Stellar Swirl or Stellar-Conduct team to clear them, which makes her far more flexible than Banje and Churin.

ObjectiveWhat you do
DefeatDefeat Local Legend, Furiosa.
Interrupt Arrow ShowerDestroy the Hindering Roots growing on the ground to interrupt Furiosa before she can unleash her Arrow Shower.
Interrupt burrowDestroy the Hindering Roots growing on the ground to interrupt Furiosa while she is burrowing.

How the Hindering Roots work

During the fight, Furiosa performs one of two special moves. She either spawns a single Hindering Root and burrows underground, or she creates two Hindering Roots to charge up an Arrow Shower. Both moves depend on those roots, which is exactly what you need to target.

You break a Hindering Root simply by hitting it. No elemental reactions are required, so the type of damage does not matter. The timing does. When she burrows, she resurfaces very quickly, so you have to reach the single root fast. During Arrow Shower she takes her time, but you must aim your attacks at the two roots and not let auto-aim lock onto Furiosa instead.

Tip: Destroying the roots briefly stuns Furiosa. Use that opening to unload your full damage rotation while she cannot fight back.

Team setup and survival

Team composition is open, so bring your strongest damage dealer. The one real threat is her damage output. Her hits can be deadly, so pay close attention to her attacks and include a solid shielder or a healer to stay alive through the longer exchanges.

With a strong, well-built party plus enough healing or shielding, the fight comes down to breaking roots on time and punishing the stun. That loop carries you through all three objectives.

How to confirm you cleared each objective

The defeat objective completes when Furiosa’s health reaches zero. The two interrupt objectives register in separate encounters. To lock in the Arrow Shower interrupt, break the two roots before the shower fires. To lock in the burrow interrupt, break the single root while she is underground before she resurfaces. Because each objective triggers on its own condition, focus on one interrupt per attempt and rely on the on-screen objective tracker to confirm progress.

Once all three conditions are met, Furiosa is fully cleared, and you can move on to Snezhnaya’s other Local Legends knowing this one asked the least of your roster.
