The Haunted Knight is the rarest pet in Grow a Garden’s Halloween Event 2026. It’s a Prismatic pet that arrived with Part 1 of the event on October 17th, and there’s no way to buy it outright. You need to hatch it, and the odds are poor.
Quick answer: Get a Haunted Egg from the Witches Brew cauldron or the Frightening Fauna Shop (1,500 Candy Corn), wait four hours, and hatch it. Each egg has a 0.5 percent chance of producing the Knight.

Where to get the Haunted Egg
Every Haunted Knight comes out of a Haunted Egg, so the real job is collecting eggs. There are two routes, plus a Robux-only version of the egg.
| Source | Cost | Haunted Egg chance |
|---|---|---|
| Witches Brew (contributor) | Halloween fruit | 16.67% for 1 egg |
| Witches Brew (top contributor) | Halloween fruit | 50% for 2 eggs |
| Frightening Fauna Shop | 1,500 Candy Corn | Only when in stock |
| Premium Haunted Egg | Robux | Direct purchase |

Witches Brew cauldron
The cauldron on the event island is the free route. Anyone who helps fill it gets a shot at the reward pool, which also includes Candy Corn, a Haunted Crate, and the Halloween Gear Box 2026.
Finishing as top contributor triples your egg odds and doubles the payout. If you’re farming the Knight without spending Candy Corn, that’s the slot to aim for.

Frightening Fauna Shop
The Frightening Fauna tab in the Halloween Market sells the Haunted Egg for 1,500 Candy Corn. You can only buy it while it’s in stock. The market restocks every five minutes, so if the egg is missing, check back after the next restock or go back to the cauldron. Check the shop yourself before you plan a big Candy Corn budget around it. At that price, 200 eggs costs 300,000 Candy Corn.
Premium Haunted Egg
The Premium Haunted Egg costs Robux and has the same 0.5 percent Knight chance as the regular egg. Paying more doesn’t improve your odds of getting the Knight. The only difference is a 1 percent chance of a Ghostly Premium Haunted Egg, which comes out of the Skull Snail’s share.

After four hours, the Haunted Egg hatches into one of four pets; simply owning it guarantees no particular outcome.
| Pet | Rarity | Haunted Egg | Premium Haunted Egg |
|---|---|---|---|
| Skull Snail | Rare | 55% | 54% |
| Lantern Wisp | Legendary | 35% | 35% |
| Gargoyle | Mythical | 9.5% | 9.5% |
| Haunted Knight | Prismatic | 0.5% | 0.5% |
| Ghostly Premium Haunted Egg | — | — | 1% |
It worked if the hatch reveals the Haunted Knight. The Knight also has a Ghostly variant, and the pet carries 500,831 hunger.

How many Haunted Eggs it takes to get a Haunted Knight
A 0.5 percent chance works out to one Knight per 200 eggs on average. Every hatch is a separate roll, though, so even 200 eggs is far from a sure thing.
| Eggs hatched | Chance of at least one Knight |
|---|---|
| 50 | 22% |
| 100 | 39% |
| 200 | 63% |
| 460 | 90% |
The Halloween Event 2026 runs through November 7th, and every egg needs four hours to hatch. Starting early and keeping eggs in the queue matters more than any single lucky cauldron.

Haunted Knight passive: Reins of Destruction
Check what the Knight does before you sink hundreds of eggs into it. Its passive only works on Nightmare pets, and each time it fires it takes age away from the pet it hits.
- Activates every 40 minutes and 44 seconds.
- Targets a random pet with the Nightmare mutation that has reached age 300.
- Resets that pet back to age 31.
- Applies the Haunted pet mutation.
- Has a 2% chance to apply Everhaunted instead.
The trade is simple. A maxed Nightmare pet drops back down to age 31 in exchange for the Haunted mutation, or the much rarer Everhaunted. If you don’t run any Nightmare pets, the passive has nothing to target, and the Knight is mostly a rare collectible.
