The back half of Honkai Star Rail 4.4 swaps out the opening lineup for three returning five-stars and keeps Himeko Nova available until the version ends. If you saved passes through the first phase, the reruns arriving now are Anaxa, Cerydra, and Aventurine, each paired with their signature Light Cone.
Quick answer: Phase 2 features Cerydra (Harmony, Wind), Anaxa (Erudition, Wind), and Aventurine (Preservation, Imaginary) as rerun five-stars, with Himeko Nova (Erudition, Fire) carrying over. The featured four-stars are Moze, Hanya, and Serval.

When Honkai Star Rail 4.4 Phase 2 goes live
The second half is expected to run from August 5, 2026 to August 25, 2026. When it begins, every Phase 1 banner closes except Himeko Nova’s, which stays open right up to the launch of Version 4.5. That means you can still chase the new limited five-star while pulling on the fresh reruns.
No official start time to the minute has been confirmed, but the window matches the standard three-week second phase for the patch.

Three rerun banners headline the second half alongside Himeko Nova’s continuing run. Each rerun character shares its stage with a boosted four-star pool.
| Character | Path | Element | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cerydra | Harmony | Wind | Rerun |
| Anaxa | Erudition | Wind | Rerun |
| Aventurine | Preservation | Imaginary | Rerun |
| Himeko Nova | Erudition | Fire | Carried over from Phase 1 |
Anaxa is seeing his second rerun since debuting in Patch 3.2, Cerydra her second since Patch 3.5, and Aventurine his second since Patch 2.1. Himeko Nova remains the only new limited unit of the patch.
Featured four-star characters
The four-star rate-up carries over unchanged from the first half. The same three units appear across all Phase 2 character banners with boosted drop rates.
| Character | Path | Element |
|---|---|---|
| Moze | The Hunt | Lightning |
| Hanya | Harmony | Physical |
| Serval | Erudition | Lightning |
Phase 2 Light Cone banners
Each rerun five-star runs beside its own signature Light Cone. The Light Cone warp uses a shared pity across the featured five-stars, and your selection resets when you close the window. Confirm the Light Cone you picked before spending Star Rail Special Passes, or you may pull one you did not intend.
| Light Cone | Path | Owner |
|---|---|---|
| Epoch Etched in Golden Blood | Harmony | Cerydra |
| Life Should Be Cast to Flames | Erudition | Anaxa |
| Inherently Unjust Destiny | Preservation | Aventurine |
Himeko Nova’s signature, A Star That Lights the Night, remains available on the Light Cone banner for the full patch. The rate-up four-star Light Cones stay the same as Phase 1.
| Four-star Light Cone | Path |
|---|---|
| Under the Blue Sky | Destruction |
| After the Charmony Fall | Erudition |
| The Birth of the Self | Erudition |
Fate collaboration banners running alongside 4.4
The second wave of the Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration started July 24, 2026 and overlaps with the patch. These banners share a single pity counter with the other Fate collab banners and carry no rate-up four-stars.
| Character | Path | Element | Signature Light Cone |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gilgamesh | Destruction | Lightning | I Am As You Behold |
| Rin Tohsaka | Erudition | Quantum | Flickering Stars |
Archer (Hunt, Quantum) and Saber (Destruction, Wind) from the original 2025 collaboration also remain available, each with their own signature Light Cone. None of the Fate banners currently list an end date.
How to confirm you are pulling on the right banner
Because the Fate collaboration banners share a pity pool that is separate from the standard rerun banners, check the header of the warp screen before you commit. The rerun banners for Anaxa, Cerydra, and Aventurine use the regular limited pity, while Gilgamesh, Rin Tohsaka, Archer, and Saber draw from the shared collab counter.
For the Light Cone banner, the featured cone you want is the one shown after you make your selection inside the warp window. If you back out, the choice reverts, so verify the highlighted cone matches the owner you are targeting before pulling.
With Himeko Nova live from the start of the patch through August 25 and the reruns limited to the second half, you have the full three-week window to secure Cerydra, Anaxa, or Aventurine, but only that window before they cycle out for Version 4.5.
