Version 4.6 of Honkai: Star Rail is called Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise, and the special program laid out the full package: a new Ice sustain unit from the Ten Stonehearts, a story chapter that pushes the Voracity plot forward, a fresh boss, two new Cavern Relic sets, and a pair of outfits. Here is what is locked in, and when you can actually play it.
Quick answer: Version 4.6 adds Pearl (5-star Ice, Path of Elation), the Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise chapter, and three new events. It goes live September 28, 2026 on Asia and EU servers.
Pearl: Ice Elation sustain and her signature Light Cone
Pearl of the Ten Stonehearts finally becomes playable. She is a 5-star Ice character on the Path of Elation, and her kit is built around keeping Elation teams alive rather than pushing damage. Her basic attack handles both cleansing and healing, which lets her cover debuff-heavy content without spending her Ultimate.
Her Ultimate, Appraise Soul’s Ground, feeds into a Deep Learning state, and her kit also runs a mechanic called Certified Banger. Her signature 5-star Light Cone is Colors for Tomorrow.
Version 4.6 banner schedule
Pearl’s banner is scheduled to run across Version 4.6, while the reruns split between the two phases. Evanescia takes the first half and Mortenax Blade takes the second.

Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise story chapter and new boss
The new Trailblaze Mission follows the Trailblazer and Nihilux as they go after a weapon capable of putting down the Voracity. It also pushes further into what Aha and Nihilux actually are, and it opens a new explorable area, the Life Sciences Institute.
The chapter’s headline fight is Blood of the Fallen God: Yabuli, a boss designed as an Emanator of Corrosion.
Version 4.6 events and rewards
Love, Ghosts & Robots
The main side event stars a ghost version of Skott and revolves around mecha puzzle mini-games. Clearing it awards Skott’s sunglasses as a collectible.
Wishpower UP! Down with Voracity!
This one ties directly into the story. You fight Voracity Corrosion enemies with buffs handed out by Nihilux and Aha, so trial units carry a lot of the load here.
Astral Slammers Squad!
Astral Slammers Squad! returns and becomes a permanent mode, now folding in the new chibi companion pets. Those pets are the Astral Imagea collectibles, and the login rewards include 6x Trendible Vouchers to pull for them.
One Take, Gift of Odyssey, and double rewards
One Take is the version’s group combat event. Alongside it, Gift of Odyssey runs the usual 7-day check-in for 10x Star Rail Special Pass, and the standard double reward events return for farming materials.
New Cavern Relics and outfits in 4.6
Two Cavern Relic sets join the pool: Dreamlit Actor and The Edacious Heretic. On the cosmetics side, two outfits hit the shop at different currencies.

4.6 livestream codes and how to redeem them
Three codes went out with the program. They expire on September 21, 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+8), so redeem them before the patch, not after.

Version 4.6 release date and server times
The update lands after the usual maintenance window, which means North America gets it on the evening of September 27 while the rest of the world rolls over to September 28.

What was teased for 4.7 and 4.8
Two future versions got short teasers. Version 4.7 is titled Currency Wars: Voyage Into the Canvas and carries the Astral Imagea pet system forward. Version 4.8 brings the crossover with Zenless Zone Zero, featuring Ellen Joe and Astra Yao.
No release dates were given for either one, so 4.6 is the only version with a confirmed schedule right now. If you are saving, the decision is mostly whether Pearl’s sustain is worth the pulls over holding for the collab.
