The Chalice of Vigor is a Unique (gold) Arcana card in AION 2 that adds a full +80 Gear Score the moment you equip it. You do not need to farm Transcendence dungeons for it. Once you hit level 45 and 2,000 Gear Score, you can build it yourself from Mysterious Crystals and Kinah through the Arcana transmute menu.

Quick answer: Clear Nightmare Altar (Hard) with a 4,000+ score for 3 Mysterious Crystals, top up to 5 total, then transmute Chalice of Vigor under Arcana > Transmute > Primal Vigor for 2,000,000 Kinah.

Requirements before you start

The fast crystal route runs through the Ascension Trial. To enter Nightmare Altar on Hard difficulty, your character needs to be Level 45 with an item level of 2,000. Hard runs on the Transcendence ruleset, carry a 14-minute clock and a death limit of 2.

Your reward is based on your score at the end, not simply on completing the dungeon. Finish with 4,000 points or more by clearing it with plenty of time still on the clock. The time remaining has the greatest impact on whether you exceed that mark.

Gather 5 Mysterious Crystals (Bound)

Transmuting one gold Chalice of Vigor costs 5 Mysterious Crystals (Bound). The crystal is the main material for making Arcana, it stacks up to 1,000, sells for 10,000 Kina and cannot be traded, so plan to produce all five on your own character. There are three ways to collect them.

Season Missions (Tower of Trials)

Open Season Mission, go to the Challenge tab, and find the Tower of Trials entries tied to the Ascension Trial. Reaching a 4,000 score unlocks three score milestones at 1,000, 3,000 and 4,000 points, each paying out one Mysterious Crystal (Bound). That covers three of the five crystals from a single strong clear.

Season Shop purchase

Under Season Shop > Growth you can buy Mysterious Crystal (Bound) for 25,000 season currency each, capped at 5 per server. This is the simplest way to close the gap after your trial rewards.

Extract unwanted Arcana cards

Open Arcana > Extract and feed in lower-rarity cards you don’t need. Each card fills an extraction meter, and once it reaches 100% you receive a Mysterious Crystal. This turns spare duplicate cards into crafting material without spending currency.

Transmute the Chalice of Vigor

With 5 Mysterious Crystals and 2,000,000 Kinah ready, you can craft the card directly.

Open the Arcana menu and switch to the Transmute tab. Select the Primal Vigor set, then pick Chalice of Vigor (Item Level 80) from the list.
Under Additional Effect, choose exactly one skill line. For a Templar, Judgment is a solid pick, or select Fury instead if your Judgment is already at level 16. Choosing a single effect keeps the cost down.
Confirm the transmutation to pay the 2,000,000 Kinah and 5 Mysterious Crystals (Bound). The card is added to your Arcana collection on success.

Picking more than one additional effect raises the material cost, so stick to one skill line on your first craft.

Equip the card and confirm the +80 Gear Score

Move to the Equip tab in the Arcana menu and slot the new Chalice of Vigor. Your Gear Score total rises by 80 points the instant it goes into the Chalice slot. If the number on your character screen jumps by 80, the craft worked and the card is active.

Where Chalice of Vigor also drops

If you would rather hunt the card than transmute it, the bound version drops from Transcendence party dungeons. The highest per-kill chances come from Atiel and Talisra of the Void at 7.5% each; the other listed bosses sit at 2.5%.

Shattered ArkanisSiliator of Deceit2.5%

Both Deus Research Base and Shattered Arkanis require a Gear Score of 1,600 to 2,500 depending on the stage, and Submerged Life Temple also lists the card among its rewards. Because the drop rates are low, the transmute route is the more reliable way to lock in the gold card and the Gear Score that comes with it.
