Douyin (searched most as “douyin dti”) is one of the round themes in Dress To Impress on Roblox. The game gives only the name, so we read it as the soft glam style named after the Chinese video app Douyin: blush high on the cheeks, sparkly eyes and glossy lips, with sleek long hair or soft curls and a pastel or black-and-white outfit. Douyin is mostly a makeup look, so both of our looks start at the Lana’s Salon vanity. We built them in Freeplay Mode and took our own pictures of each step. Every piece here opened without Robux, so both work without VIP. For the other themes, see every Dress To Impress theme we have built.
Quick answer: For Douyin, sit at the Lana’s Salon vanity and pick the pink-blush face (Feminine tab, row 3, right card), add long sleek black hair, a white top, a pastel pink plaid mini and white knee boots.
Douyin outfit ideas in Dress To Impress
Dress To Impress shows no item names, and the vanity’s face cards carry no names or numbers either, so every piece here is described by where it sits, what it looks like and its color: the HEX code the color panel shows, or the spot we used on the Default palette (columns from the left, rows from the top). Set a piece’s colors while it is still a preview, then press “Put On”. The black top and shorts in the early pictures are the base body; the clothes cover them.
Look 1: Pink soft glam with sleek black hair and a pink plaid mini
Our idea: the classic Douyin face, pink blush over the cheeks and nose with shimmery eyes and glossy lips, framed by long sleek black hair and a soft pastel outfit.

The finished look up close on the Freeplay Runway: the pink blush face with glossy lips, the sleek black hair and the white square-neck top.

From behind, the hair falls straight down the back with the small bun at the crown, over the pink plaid skirt and the white boots.

The Wearing panel for this look shows four pieces: the hair, the white top, the boots and the skirt. The skirt’s picture keeps its shelf black, but on you it stays pink.

Look 2: Soft glam with brown curls, a black beret and a white collar
Our idea: the black-and-white chic side of Douyin, with a beret, a collared top and a white mini, and a softer glam face with soft curls. We built it on a new Freeplay server, so it starts from the base body again.

The finished look on the Freeplay Runway: the black beret over the brown curls, the soft glam face, the black top with its white collar, the white fitted mini and the black platform heels.

From behind, the curls fall to the middle of the back over the white skirt, with the beret tilted on top.

Add to Google Preferences →How to get to the makeup vanity in Freeplay
The vanity is in Lana’s Salon, the hall you spawn in. Of the salon’s two arches, the left one (as you face the salon from the hall) has the hair chairs under framed hair pictures; the vanity is the other arch, a seat facing arched mirrors. Press E at the seat. The seat has a 3:00 timer; press Space to leave (we sometimes needed two taps). The Feminine tab’s face cards apply as soon as you click them. After joining a new server, the face is blank again until you sit at the vanity.
Why these looks read as Douyin
Douyin style is soft, polished glam: blush placed high across the cheeks and nose, sparkly lids and glossy lips, with hair either sleek and straight or in big soft curls. The outfits lean pastel and girly or clean black-and-white chic. Look 1 is the pastel side, with the strongest blush face; Look 2 is the chic side, with a beret and a collar. That is plain styling advice; we have not seen how either look scores in a real round.

How to recolor a piece
- Click the piece so it shows on you as a preview, and pick the part with the arrows beside the part name (“1/3: Preview” and so on).
- Click a heart on the Palette for that part. The color panel also shows the part’s HEX code.
- Press “Put On”. Colors set while previewing stay on the piece you wear.
- To change a piece you already wear, click its picture in the Wearing panel and set the part again. To take a piece off, click the heart X under its picture.
Douyin colors on the Default palette
Rows count from the top of the palette, columns from the left. These are the spots we used; the hair, the white top, the boots, the white skirt and the platform heels keep their default colors.
| Color | Column | Row | Used for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pastel pink | 2 | 3 | Look 1 skirt part 1 |
| Black | 9 | 8 (bottom row, far right) | Look 2 beret, Look 2 top part 1 |
| White | 1 | 8 (bottom row, far left) | Look 2 top part 2 (the collar) |

Poses for Douyin
Any free pose from the Poses menu works; we used Dazzle for the pink soft glam look and Lilac for the beret look. For the full list with a picture of each, see every free pose in Dress To Impress.
Building it in Freeplay Mode first
Freeplay Mode has no timer, so it is the place to find the pieces and set the colors without a round running out. That matters here: the face is at the vanity, the hair is at the hair chairs, the beret and the white mini are on the spawn hall’s walls, the tops are on the tops wall, the boots and the plaid skirt are on the Halloween display and the platforms are on the shoe shelf. Once a look works, you know where to go when Douyin comes up in a real round. How a theme round works
We have not had Douyin as a round yet; this is from ordinary server rounds on other themes. On the main lobby, the theme shows in a banner at the top with a timer under it. After dressing, each player walks the runway in turn, about 7 seconds each, while the others vote with five stars along the bottom of the screen, with a “Voting complete!” banner between players. A “Results” card then ranks the players, followed by an “Intermission” countdown.
The “Pick Theme” button next to the intermission timer lets you choose the theme, but only with Theme Props. The panel reads “You have: 0 Theme Props” and offers a “Buy More” button priced at 75 Robux. We bought none and saw no free ones, so without Robux you wait for Douyin to roll.
What we have not checked
No round we joined rolled Douyin, so these looks have not walked a real round: there is no score, star count or vote for them. We did not change the numbered Eyes cards, and scrolling the Feminine list further did nothing for us, so only the cards on its first screen were tried; the Toy Codes and Masculine tabs were not opened. We did not open the white top’s second part, the skirt’s second and third parts or the platform heels’ second part. Both looks were built with 0 stars, and nothing was bought.
FAQ
What should I wear for Douyin in Dress To Impress?
Start with a soft glam face from the vanity, then add sleek long hair or soft curls and a pastel or black-and-white outfit: a white top with a pastel pink plaid mini and white knee boots, or a black beret, a black top with a white collar and a white fitted mini.
Which makeup is best for Douyin in DTI?
The pink blush face: Lana’s Salon vanity, Feminine tab, row 3, right card. It has the pink blush across the cheeks and nose, shimmery eyes and glossy lips that Douyin is known for. The middle card in the same row is a softer, warmer version.
How do I get to the vanity in Dress To Impress?
Go to Lana’s Salon, the hall you spawn in. The left arch has the hair chairs; the vanity is in the other arch, a seat facing arched mirrors. Press E at the seat, and Space to leave.
Can I do Douyin without VIP?
Yes. Both looks were built on an account with no VIP and 0 stars, and every face card, piece and color used here worked on it.
What is Douyin style?
It is named after Douyin, the Chinese version of TikTok, and stands for a soft glam makeup look: blush high on the cheeks and nose, sparkly lids and glossy lips, usually with sleek or softly curled hair and a cute or chic outfit.
Where is the beret in Dress To Impress?
On the hats wall in the Freeplay spawn hall, on the left of the middle shelf. It is brown by default (HEX #4a311b); we set it to black on the Palette (column 9, row 8) before pressing “Put On”.
