Reshanta is a contested zone, so prepare for PvP and hostile nearby creatures, including Abyss Mutants and Abyss Sulfur Slimes, as you clear the area.
Farm the soul at Sulfur Tree Island
Abyss Nagarant Brawlers are tanky and spawn spread out rather than in packs, so plan on moving between individual targets across the sulfur water. Each kill drops the soul, so no grinding for a rare proc is needed.
Every mob that drops the soul
Two creatures carry Soul: Nagarant Guardian Warrior on their drop tables. Both are Cogni-type and the soul drops at 100% per kill, so your route is really about which Abyss zone you can reach and defend. The Brawler appears in two zones, giving you a backup spot if one area is crowded.

The Contaminated Marsh spawns in Chaotic Middle Reshanta hold the largest concentration of Brawlers, so that zone is the densest option once you can survive there. The Sulfur Tree Island spawns are the easier entry point at Level 48. Souls can also come out of a few pet chests, but the mob route is the reliable way to stack them quickly.

Each Pet Insight level grants the same bonus every Cogni pet shares, and the soul cost climbs sharply between tiers. You start at Lv. 1 once the pet is unlocked, then feed souls to advance.

Reaching the top tier unlocks the ability to transform into the Nagarant Guardian Warrior for 5 minutes using an Empathy Candy, which you buy from the Festival Shop for 20 Centuryroot Token or earn as a Pet Collection reward. The pet must be equipped and at Pet Insight Lv. 3 for the transformation to work, and you cannot mount while transformed.
How to confirm it worked
Open the Pets menu under Genus Insight and check the Nagarant Guardian Warrior entry. The counter shows your progress toward the next tier, reading as a fraction such as 1/25 while you are still at Lv. 1. When the souls you have fed cross each threshold, the Pet Insight level ticks up and the Owned Effect on the entry updates to the next row of stats. Once it displays Lv. 3 with HP +30, Critical Hit +2, Might +1, the pet is maxed and the transform option becomes available.
