How to Unlock Siegfried in Granblue Fantasy: Relink

Siegfried is one of the standard playable characters in Granblue Fantasy: Relink – Endless Ragnarok, and he joins your roster the same way most of the crew does. You earn a Crewmate Card through normal play, then hand it over to Sierokarte to make him usable. There is no premium currency wall and no rare treasure hunt attached to him.

Quick answer: Progress through the game to collect a Crewmate Card, then trade that card to Sierokarte and select Siegfried. Once the trade completes, he becomes selectable in your party menu.

What you need before unlocking Siegfried

Siegfried belongs to the standard roster, so he does not require any special treasure to obtain. The only requirement is a Crewmate Card, which the game hands out as you clear story chapters and complete certain quests. The game gives out enough Crewmate Cards to unlock everyone in the standard roster, so you will not run short as long as you keep playing.

This is different from a small handful of characters that need rare items. Tweyen and Seofon require Supreme Weapon Essence, and Sandalphon requires Canaan Whitebloom. Siegfried is not in that group, so you can skip any treasure farming for him.

Trade a Crewmate Card to Sierokarte

Keep advancing through the campaign and clearing quests until you have at least one Crewmate Card available. These cards accumulate naturally as rewards, so no special detour is needed.

Speak to Sierokarte, who handles the crewmate trades. Open her trade menu where you exchange cards for new party members.

Choose Siegfried from the list and confirm the trade. A single Crewmate Card covers a standard character like him.

How to confirm Siegfried is unlocked

After the trade goes through, Siegfried appears as a selectable character when you build or edit your party. If he is still missing from the party menu, the trade did not complete, which usually means you had no Crewmate Card in stock at the time. Earn another card through story or quest progress and repeat the trade.

How Siegfried compares to purchasable characters

Some characters can be bought directly with real money through in-game character packs. That option covers Tweyen, Seofon, Sandalphon, Fraux, and Fediel. Siegfried is not sold this way, so the Crewmate Card route through Sierokarte is the path to add him.
