Heists are the high-stakes thievery jobs in Idle Mafia Game on Roblox. You invest your own resources and rely on your current stats for a chance to walk away with Gold Bars and other rewards. Because the game is fully menu-based, a Heist does not need any active input once it starts. Its outcome is driven by what you put in and how much Help you gather from other players.
Quick answer: Reach the required player level to open a Heist, stake the listed Cash and Energy, then collect enough Help from other players on your server before the timer runs out. A successful Heist pays Cash, XP, Getaway Duffels, and Gold Bars.

How Heists work in Idle Mafia Game
The Heist system has two sides. You can start your own Heist, or you can send Help to Heists that other players are running. Starting one is the heavier task, since it ties up your Cash, Energy, and time while you wait for the Help requirement to fill. You can review everything a Heist demands by opening the Heists menu and pressing the “Start a Heist” button.
Heists are gated behind your player level, and they typically become available around Level 13 to 14. As you climb higher, tougher Heists unlock that require a larger stake and a longer timer to complete. You can launch and manage all of this from inside the game’s Heists screen.

Add to Google Preferences →What a Heist stake requires
To begin a Heist, you place a stake. This stake is made up of three parts, and only two of them are fully in your hands. Cash and Energy are yours to manage, but Help has to come from other players sharing your server. If the Help requirement is not met before the timer expires, the Heist can fail.
| Stake component | Details |
|---|---|
| Cash | An invested amount set by the Heist. Fully within your control. |
| Energy | Consumed to run the Heist. Also within your control. |
| Help | Must be received from other players on the same server before the timer ends. |
Because Help is the one factor you cannot supply yourself, it is the main thing that decides whether a big Heist goes through in time. Plan larger Heists for busy servers where more players are around to pitch in.

Help, Sabotage, and Favors
Helping other players is the second half of the system, and it runs on Favors. You spend Favors to send Help to a running Heist, and you can also spend them to Sabotage a rival’s Heist for extra rewards. When your Favors run out, they refill on their own over time.
Sending Help also draws on your Stamina, and there is a cap on how much Help you can contribute to a single Heist. You can only Help or Sabotage Heists that you have already unlocked yourself. If a Heist you assisted succeeds, you earn a small cut of its Cash and XP rewards. Use the “Send Help” button in the Heists menu, which appears only on Heists at your level or below.
Heist rewards and Gold Bars
A completed Heist pays out more than the Cash you staked. The full reward set covers currency, progression, and items you can open later.
| Reward | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cash | Core currency for gear, Properties, and future stakes. |
| XP | A large amount of experience toward your next level. |
| Getaway Duffels | Crates you open for a mix of items and bonuses. |
| Gold Bars | A premium currency tied directly to the Family system. |
Since Gold Bars connect to Families, being in an active Family is what makes the Heist payout most useful. You can join another player’s Family or create your own from the Family menu, and a growing Family unlocks stronger perks for every member.

Improve your odds before you stake
A Heist’s outcome leans on your current stats and resources, so building yourself up before a big stake matters. Gear, Crew, and permanent bonuses all raise the power you bring into the attempt.
The Shop is the direct route to stat boosts. You can buy weapons, armor, vehicles, crates, and borders here for Cash, and each one adds to your stats. For example, the Pinstripe Wool profile border costs $5,000 and grants +2 Attack and +2 Defense once equipped.

Anything you buy or earn lands in your Inventory, which holds weapons, armor, vehicles, crates, borders, and trophies. Check it regularly so you know what you have on hand before a Heist.

Boss battles are another strong source of gear. Beating a boss pays Cash and crates that you open for bonuses and items. Enzo “The Collector” Rizzo, for instance, drops $4,000, 120 XP, 10 Respect, and a Street Stash crate containing a Switch Stiletto. Bosses go on a cooldown of well over 12 hours before you can rematch them.

Your Crew adds power too. Unlock a Crew slot with Cash, hire a henchman, and equip both yourself and your henchmen with gear. Duplicate items are worth depositing into your Collection, where each filled crate grants a permanent stat bonus that carries into every fight and Heist.

Knowing a Heist succeeded or failed
A Heist clears when its Help requirement is filled before the timer ends, at which point the rewards drop into your account. It can fail if the timer runs out with the Help still short. Keep an eye on the countdown, and lean on active servers so other players can reach the Help target in time. If you are on the giving side, remember your cut only arrives when the Heist you supported actually succeeds.
