The aircraft you fly in Land or Die decides how much room your crew has to fix failures, how fast you burn fuel, and how high you can climb before the descent begins. Every plane is bought with Miles, the currency you earn across rounds, and each step up trades a bigger price tag for better speed, altitude, or handling.
Quick answer: There are seven planes in Land or Die. Open the Planes menu in the lobby and spend Miles to unlock one. The Bon-Corde is the fastest at 1,800 max speed, while the BayKing 350 is the cheapest at 2,500 Miles.

Every plane in Land or Die and what it costs
The Dougie BC-3 is the starter aircraft, but it is not the cheapest one on the board. That title goes to the BayKing 350. Rarity climbs from Uncommon up to Legendary, and the price generally rises with it, topping out at the 375,000-Mile Bon-Corde.
| Plane | Rarity | Cost (Miles) | Crew |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dougie BC-3 | Starter | 25,000 | 4 |
| BayKing 350 | Uncommon | 2,500 | 3 |
| Boing 767 | Rare | 40,000 | 6 |
| AeroLiner 300 | Rare | 50,000 | 6 |
| Citrus B50 | Epic | 70,000 | 3 |
| B700 Super Jet | Legendary | 100,000 | 3 |
| Bon-Corde | Legendary | 375,000 | 4 |
Crew capacity is the number that matters most for public servers. The Boing 767 and AeroLiner 300 both seat six, giving you the most hands to split across fuel, repairs, fires, and panic control. The private jets cap out at three, which suits coordinated friend groups more than chaotic large lobbies.

Raw speed rises alongside fuel drain, so faster planes empty their tanks quicker and demand more frequent wing refuels. Handling measures how responsive the controls feel during the final approach, and quality reflects the overall build tier.
| Plane | Max Speed | Fuel Drain/sec | Handling | Max Altitude | Quality |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dougie BC-3 | 900 | 1.5 | 0.45 | 15,000 | 60 |
| BayKing 350 | 950 | 2 | 0.55 | 15,000 | 80 |
| Boing 767 | 1,000 | 3 | 0.35 | 20,000 | 80 |
| AeroLiner 300 | 1,150 | 3.5 | 0.45 | 25,000 | 100 |
| Citrus B50 | 1,200 | 2.5 | 0.60 | 25,000 | 100 |
| B700 Super Jet | 1,500 | 5 | 0.60 | 30,000 | 125 |
| Bon-Corde | 1,800 | 7 | 0.50 | 40,000 | 200 |
Note: The Bon-Corde drains 7 fuel per second, the highest in the game. That top speed and 40,000-foot ceiling come at the cost of constant refuel runs, so it rewards crews who can keep someone on the wing throughout the flight.
Which plane to buy for your crew
Your best pick depends on what you are optimizing for. Speed, handling, and price each point to a different aircraft.
- Fastest: Bon-Corde, at 1,800 max speed and a 40,000-foot altitude limit. It is the priciest at 375,000 Miles.
- Best handling: the Citrus B50 and B700 Super Jet tie at 0.60, giving the sharpest control on approach.
- Cheapest: BayKing 350 at 2,500 Miles, with better handling than the starter and a modest 2 fuel per second drain.
- Most crew slots: Boing 767 and AeroLiner 300, both seating six for large-server chaos.
For early Miles budgets, the BayKing 350 is the natural first upgrade because it costs a fraction of the starter Dougie BC-3 while handling better. Once you can afford it, the AeroLiner 300 balances a large six-person crew with a 25,000-foot ceiling and 100 quality, making it a strong all-rounder for public lobbies. The Legendary jets are best saved for experienced crews who can absorb their heavy fuel demands.
You unlock any of these from the lobby Planes menu, and the purchase confirms once you have enough Miles to cover its cost. Since the game is still in beta, plane stats and the roster can shift with updates, so it is worth checking the Planes menu again after a new patch lands.
