Status: Confirmed. Qloud Games will bring its cozy solarpunk life-sim MMO, Loftia, into Early Access on November 3, 2026. The studio revealed that date during the September 20, 2026 PC Gaming Show: Tokyo Direct, where it also showed a launch trailer, announced the price, and confirmed 14 languages at release. Both Steam and the official FAQ list the same date.

Quick answer: On Steam, Loftia launches for PC and Mac at 1pm EST (6pm GMT) on November 3, 2026; its price is $29.99, with a 17% reduction available at launch.

Release time: November 3, 2026 at 1:00pm EST / 6:00pm GMT

Loftia launch time in every major time zone

Rather than relying on Steam’s standard release timing, Qloud Games specified when Loftia will unlock. The store opening is set for 1pm EST, equivalent to 10am Pacific. By November 3, daylight saving time will have ended in both the US and Europe, leaving these as standard-time offsets that will not change.

RegionLocal launch time
Los Angeles (PST)10:00am, Nov 3
New York (EST)1:00pm, Nov 3
São Paulo (BRT)3:00pm, Nov 3
London (GMT)6:00pm, Nov 3
Berlin / Paris (CET)7:00pm, Nov 3
Tokyo (JST)3:00am, Nov 4
Sydney (AEDT)5:00am, Nov 4

Players in the Asia-Pacific region get their hands on it on November 4 local time. Wishlisting on Steam is the simplest way to be pinged the moment the page flips from “Coming soon” to a buy button.

Loftia price: $29.99 with a 17% launch discount

Loftia is buy-to-play. One purchase covers all the gameplay, with no subscription on top and no paid expansions planned — content updates during Early Access are free to owners.

Platforms on day one, and what comes later

Early Access is a PC and Mac launch through Steam, with full controller and gamepad support in addition to keyboard and mouse. Steam Deck support is official from day one, which is a firmer commitment than the FAQ carried before the date announcement.

The Nintendo Switch edition remains on the roadmap without a firm date; 2027 has been mentioned as a goal, not a confirmation. Since Loftia requires an internet connection, playing on Switch will also require Nintendo Switch Online. No version for Switch 2 has been announced.

The Epic Games Store is the one moving piece. Epic sat alongside Steam earlier in the year, but the FAQ rewritten on announcement day lists launch platforms and names only Steam. Qloud Games has not said Epic is cancelled, so it is best read as unannounced for November 3 rather than ruled out.

The game ships with 14 languages: English, French, German, Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Indonesian, Russian, Thai, and Turkish.

What changed since the closed beta

Between April 22 and May 6, 2026, Kickstarter backers, Loftia Partners, and giveaway winners took part in the inaugural closed beta. It attracted 24,648 players, and it was the community’s first chance to see the Gridfall district. The release trailer also uses substantial footage recorded during the beta.

Feedback from that test fed directly into the launch build. The visible changes include:

  • Rebuilt pet models and additional furniture sets
  • Reworked mini-game interfaces, including the crafting and nail-hammering mini-games
  • Expanded character customization and new clothing options
  • A manual hat position menu with size, offset, pitch, roll, and yaw sliders to stop hair clipping through headwear

Loftia also has a name for its group content now. Adventures are the game’s answer to MMO dungeons, except there is no combat: parties take on timed missions built around puzzles, platforming, and exploration, including Gauntlet runs like Twisted Path and It’s High Bloom, plus objectives such as repairing wildlife feeders, rescuing castaways, and redirecting antennae.

Pre-registration and how to claim the launch rewards

Pre-registration opened on September 10, 2026 on the official site. It is not a purchase and it is not the same as a Steam wishlist — it creates the Loftia account you link in-game at launch, and it carries exclusive cosmetic rewards, including a Wind Turbine community project. Neither pre-registering nor wishlisting buys you the game.

Open the Loftia pre-registration page and enter your name and email address in the signup form.
Sign in on the site if you already made an account through the Kickstarter, the closed beta, or an earlier signup. Existing account holders see their rewards applied on login rather than needing to register again.
Confirm it worked. A successful signup leaves you with a Loftia account you can log back into, and the rewards attach to that account for launch day. If the page instead shows a banner saying new account registration is paused, the form has not gone through — wishlisting on Steam is the working fallback for launch notifications in the meantime.

What is still unconfirmed

  • The timing of the 1.0 launch and the length of the Early Access period
  • Nintendo Switch timing, and whether Switch 2 gets its own version
  • Cross-play is being tested as a studio goal, but it remains unconfirmed; purchasing Loftia separately on every platform would still be required.
  • When the 17% launch discount ends
  • Whether Loftia will come to the Epic Games Store after launch

Nothing is playable between now and launch day. The April beta was the last hands-on window, and the November 3 unlock is the next time anyone gets into Loftia City — a little over six weeks out for a game that started as a two-person project in 2022 and reached $1.27 million from more than 16,700 Kickstarter backers.
