Machine Party: How to Win All 15 Minigames

The exact win condition for every lethal round, from Minefield to The Filter, in one place.

The exact win condition for every lethal round, from Minefield to The Filter, in one place.

Machine Party throws two to four players into a string of industrial death traps, and each round has its own rule for staying alive. The scoreboard runs across all 15 minigames, so the group that avoids cheap deaths tends to come out on top. Below is the win condition for every mode, plus the one detail that decides most rounds.

Quick answer: Each minigame ends when you either complete its objective (finish the meal, sort the most items, assemble a gun first) or when you outlast everyone else. Read the second briefing page before you ready up, because several modes show the controls first and the actual win condition on the next screen.

Route and hazard modes

Minefield

You cross a corridor lined with invisible mines while a bladed vehicle chases from behind. Stand still to ping nearby mines with the sonar, then move through the gap you revealed. Standing still too long lets the harvester catch you, so scan, commit to the widest gap, and reach the end by any route. Do not follow another player closely, since a shove near a revealed mine can take you both out.

Illustration

Wrong Way

You run up an escalator with a crusher at the bottom. Enter the directional buttons in the order shown above your lane to keep pace. Wrong inputs slow you down and drag you toward the crusher, so read only the next two or three arrows and keep a clean rhythm. Arrow keys or the D-pad register cardinal directions more reliably than an analog stick.

Tunnel Hazard

A train tears through a room with six alcoves and one shutter. Hide in the alcove lit green to survive the pass. When an alcove’s light turns red, a pillar drops inside it, so you cannot camp one spot forever. Stay near the center while safe spaces settle, then claim your nook and shove rivals into the train’s path or a hazard alcove. The last one alive wins.

Illustration

Lethal Rebound

Three crawlspaces periodically release spinning blades that ricochet around the room and bounce off each other. There is no objective beyond survival. Watch the repeating disc paths, keep an escape lane open, and let the last player standing take the round.

Debris Platforms

Each player stands on a circular platform under a piston. Keep your platform clear of junk or the machine crushes you along with the debris. You can throw your junk onto rival platforms, and they can do the same to you. The red glowing ring is your timer, and the piston drops when the light reaches the small center circle. Clear your own floor before you attack anyone else.

Precision and sorting modes

Chisel Gauntlet

The motto is Chisel, Carve, Submit. You are shown a 3×3 cube with some pieces missing, then locked in a room to carve your own block into that exact shape. Memorize the missing bits, reproduce them, and submit before the timer ends. A wrong shape or a timeout gets you shot, and any survivors advance. Turn the target into a short verbal note like “top two and front-right” so you can hold it after a misclick.

Illustration

The Filter

Standing at a conveyor belt, you sort a line of items. Throw the picture frames into the furnace and let mechanical parts like nuts and bolts pass through. Correct actions score points, while burning parts or letting art through score nothing. The player with the most points wins, so accuracy matters more than raw speed.

Smoke Break

You balance inhaling and exhaling a cigarette by holding and releasing the inhale button. Rushing the timing or doing both at once makes you cough. The player with the most puffs wins, and the loser is executed by a gun on a trolley.

Combat and assembly modes

Firearm Factory

Weapon parts appear at the bottom of the screen to be picked up and placed on your table one by one. Line up all the parts to build a firearm, then shoot the other players before they finish theirs. The last one standing wins. A part only counts once it is inserted at your own workstation, and recipes can differ between players, so do not copy the person beside you.

Illustration

Duck Hunt

One player becomes the Hunter on a raised vantage point, and the rest are Runners crossing an open corridor toward the Hunter’s building. Runners use playground cover to avoid shots and win by reaching the end, while the Hunter wins by eliminating everyone. A couple of hits will kill a Runner, so cross right after a shot or reload, and move together to split the Hunter’s aim.

Inside Job

The party spawns in an office full of cabinets and drawers hiding a single syringe. Whoever finds it becomes the infector and must inject the others. Infected players gain a movement buff and can turn on the hunter, and the office darkens to give both sides cover. The hunter wins by infecting everyone without being caught, and runners win by avoiding infection.

Spinebreaker

A mechanical spider chases you around a room filled with cover, ticking down like a bomb. If it is latched onto you when the timer hits zero, it crushes you. Throw it onto another player to survive, since it chases whoever is closest. If you are the target, break line of sight around corners, because it closes distance fastest in a straight line.

Positioning and logistics modes

Stable Footing

The floor is a 6×8 grid of tiles that can drop into an abyss. Panels on the north wall show the correct symbol tile to stand on when the horn sounds, and missing it drops you. To win, push the others into the pit. Each turn the game removes more safe tiles until one player remains, and you can walk diagonally to reach footing faster. Confirm the current symbol before you move, because it changes between phases.

Table Manners

This is a violent take on Simon Says. Everyone sits at a table eating peas with a fork while a murderer reads a newspaper at the head. When he looks up, freeze, or he shoots you. Left click forks the peas and right click eats them, so load several peas during a safe window and swallow them at once. The player who finishes the plate wins and moves on.

Illustration

Forklift Certified

You get 20 seconds to use a forklift and stack as many boxes as possible in your part of the room. When the timer hits zero, the player with the fewest boxes is executed. If you are falling behind, steal boxes from rivals and drag them into your zone before the clock runs out.

How to win the session, not just one round

The leaderboard runs across all 15 rounds, and placements can swing late, so a bad start does not end your night. Aim to finish mid-pack or better on every mode rather than gambling everything on chaotic picks. The biggest recurring mistake is treating every round like a race. That works in Wrong Way and Forklift Certified, but it gets you killed in Minefield, Table Manners, and Spinebreaker, where reading the objective first matters more than moving fast.

Tip: Sabotage only when it widens your lead without risking your own elimination. Blocking a doorway after you have already cleared the objective is strong, while diving into a saw to take someone down while you are in last place is theater, not strategy.

Input choice also decides a few modes outright. Mouse aiming is cleaner for the Duck Hunt Hunter and for selecting individual cube segments in Chisel Gauntlet, while keyboard arrows or the D-pad read better in Wrong Way. Machine Party is available on Steam, where you can check the full details on its official store page.
