The town of Moonlight Peaks is built around seven supernatural families, and getting to know them sits at the center of the cozy vampire life-sim from Little Chicken Game Company. You play a young vampire who has left the big city to prove to a skeptical Count Dracula that the undead can live a warm, quiet life. Each family runs part of the town, carries its own traditions, and opens up friendships, gifts, and romance as your standing with them grows.
Quick answer: The seven families are the Dracula line (vampires), the Ambrosia house (vampires), the Logan family (werewolves), the Webb family (witches), the Khazan family (seers), the Hosu family (mermaids), and the Henderson family (humans).

The seven families at a reference glance
Every building in the town centre is tied to a family, so these houses aren’t just background lore. They’re the mayor, the tailor, the bar, the café, the flower shop, and the docks you pass every night. Here is who’s who.
| Family | Species | Tied to |
|---|---|---|
| Dracula | Vampires | Your inherited cottage and the catacombs |
| Ambrosia | Vampires | Coffee & Coffins (café) and The Broken Lamp (bar) |
| Logan | Werewolves | The town hall and the carpentry shop |
| Webb | Witches | Web of Wonders (magic shop) and the flower shop |
| Khazan | Seers | Third Eye Threads (tailor) and Nokturna |
| Hosu | Mermaids | Luna Bay and the water’s edge |
| Henderson | Humans | The newer houses in town |
Note: the town is described as having seven founding families, and these are the seven with confirmed surnames. It isn’t spelled out exactly which houses count toward that “founding” number or whether your own Dracula line sits inside or outside it, so treat the list as the confirmed roster rather than a strict headcount.

Add to Google Preferences →The two vampire houses: Dracula and Ambrosia
There are two separate vampire families, and they are not the same household. The Dracula line is your own. It’s made up of your vampire (the newcomer), your sceptical father Count Dracula, and Viktor, the crypt-decorating vampire from the Wine Scheme quest, who is confirmed as Viktor Dracula. This family is tied to your inherited cottage and the catacombs.

The Ambrosia house is the second, unrelated vampire family, led by the theatrical Orlock. His wife has left him, and his relationship with his kids is strained. The full family includes his children Mina and Evan, plus his nephew Samael and niece Elvira. All four of them, along with Orlock himself, are named romance options, and the house runs the Coffee & Coffins café and The Broken Lamp bar.

Werewolves, witches, seers, mermaids, and humans
Logan (werewolves)
The town’s werewolves are headed by mayor Brook Logan and grow zanier around a full moon. The family tree adds Brook’s daughter Saga, an early fan favourite, along with her brother Ridge, who runs the carpentry shop, and Ridge’s son Ludo. Saga, Ridge, and Ludo are all romance options.
Webb (witches)
The witch household is led by coven leader and florist Fiona. Her brother Noel is a warlock and the one who bets you 250 coins that you can’t out-fish him, while their cousin Sabrina keeps Web of Wonders, the magic and potion shop. The nature witch Luna, surname Aranea, is a distant cousin of the family. All four are named romance options.
Khazan (seers)
The fortune-telling family were known only as “the Seers” before launch confirmed the surname Khazan. Three siblings make up the house: tailor Aras, who runs Third Eye Threads, and Alina and Dragan, both tied to Nokturna. Dragan is a Khazan seer and card duelist, not a vampire. All three can be romanced.
Hosu (mermaids)
The town’s merfolk carry the surname Hosu. Three siblings live in Luna Bay: the bubbly Kim, the environmentally minded Rei, and the effortlessly stylish Tae. All three are named romance options.
Henderson (humans)
Not everyone in Moonlight Peaks is supernatural. The Hendersons are the town’s human family, recently moved in and living in the newer houses. They are the supernatural-obsessed Jada, her sceptical brother Winston, and their free-spirited aunt Persephone. All three are romance options.

The vampire–werewolf feud
The oldest rivalry in town runs between the vampires and the werewolves. The two families rarely see eye to eye and trade petty spats around Moonlight Peaks, and because you play a vampire, that feud colours your standing from day one. It also creates some of the game’s best drama, since courting across the divide, like pursuing the werewolf Saga while the rest of her pack side-eyes you, plays into that tension.
How the families shape romance and gameplay
Your standing with each family shapes festivals, gifts, and which doors open to you. Romance runs through all of them. There are 23 romanceable residents spread across the Hosu mermaids, Webb witches, Logan werewolves, Ambrosia vampires, Henderson humans, and Khazan seers, plus Death and the Love Demon Llemi. Dating is gender-neutral with no gender locking, and you can marry, though there are no children.
Uncovering the families and restoring light to the town is one of the game’s central goals rather than just flavour, so repairing relationships pushes the main story forward. Moonlight Peaks first released July 7, 2026, and is out now on PC, macOS, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Android, with more details on the official site.
