What locker codes reward and where they come from
Locker codes historically dropped MyTeam packs, individual player cards ranging from Diamond up to Galaxy Opal, VC, tokens, badges, and shoe cards. Higher-tier codes occasionally unlocked 99 Overall players or event-exclusive cards not available through regular gameplay. Codes were announced through official X and TikTok accounts and the Community Discord server, and occasionally revealed on-air during NBA and WNBA broadcasts.
No locker code stays active indefinitely. Some lasted only a few hours after being posted, while others remained redeemable for days or weeks. All platforms, including PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC, redeem codes through the same in-game MyTeam menu, so availability never varied by platform.
No official next release date for a new NBA 2K25 code is currently confirmed.
