Passing in NBA 2K27 looks slower and rougher than in past years, so the animation you pick actually matters. A quick Pass Style gets the ball out of your hands sooner and gives defenders less time to jump the lane. You can swap these animations freely in MyCareer, and you can mix a Pass Style with different dribble and shooting animations to build a player that feels right.

Best Pass Styles in NBA 2K27 by Pass Accuracy requirement

Every Pass Style has its own Pass Accuracy requirement, and you cannot buy one until that attribute is high enough. The animations below are all fast and clean out on the court, and they are ordered by requirement so there is an option at nearly every passing level. Most of these are ideal for point guards, but LeBron James and Draymond Green are worth a look on a big man, especially for inbound passes.

Pass Accuracy requirements across all Pass Styles

There are 60 Pass Styles in total, and all of them are usable by builds from 5’9″ up to 7’4″. The requirement is the same lever every time, which means raising Pass Accuracy is what unlocks more options. The Fundamental style sits at 40 and the None option at 25, so lower-passing builds still have something to equip while working toward a signature animation. How to buy a Pass Style in the Animation Store

Pass Styles are purchased with VC inside MyCareer. Most cost between 200 and 400 VC, though a few are free. You can browse ones you can’t afford yet, but you can only buy a style once your Pass Accuracy meets its requirement.

Open the MyPLAYER tab in the MyCareer menu and select Animations.

Press X to open the Animation Store, then choose Playmaking Moves followed by Pass Styles.

Press RS to Show All. This reveals every Pass Style, including the ones whose Pass Accuracy requirement is currently too high for your build.

Select a style you meet the requirement for and confirm the purchase. It now sits in your owned animations, ready to equip.

How to equip your Pass Style

After buying, press X to switch to the Gameplay Animations tab. You can also cycle through the tabs at the top using LB and RB.

Find the Pass Style you own and select it to equip. Only one Pass Style can be active at a time, but you can pair it with separate dribble and shooting animations.

You’ll know it worked when the chosen animation shows as equipped in the Gameplay Animations tab, and your passes use that motion in your next game. If a style stays locked, your Pass Accuracy is below its requirement, so raise that attribute before trying again.

Park Flashy Passes are separate

At the bottom of the Playmaking Moves section there are dedicated Park Flashy Pass animations, including elbow and kick passes. These only trigger in Park games when you perform a Flashy Pass, so they don’t replace your standard Pass Style. Treat them as a bonus for Park play rather than your main passing animation.

All of these Pass Styles are available in Season 1, and new animations can arrive in later seasons. Since passing rewards accuracy this year, lifting your Pass Accuracy not only completes more difficult passes but also opens up the faster, cleaner styles that make the biggest difference on offense.
