Nivalis Nights unlocks worldwide at 15:00 UTC on September 29, 2026, on PC via Steam.

Nivalis Nights, the cyberpunk life sim from ION LANDS and 505 Games, launches on September 29, 2026, and the wait is now measured in hours rather than months. The game goes live as a full 1.0 release on PC, with a single global unlock rather than a staggered regional rollout.

Quick answer: Nivalis Nights unlocks at 15:00 UTC on September 29, 2026 on Steam. That is 8:00 AM PDT, 11:00 AM EDT, and 4:00 PM BST. In parts of Asia and Australasia the clock rolls into September 30.

Nivalis Nights release status: Confirmed for September 29

The date is confirmed, not a window. ION LANDS and 505 Games locked September 29, 2026 when the game was renamed from Nivalis to Nivalis Nights, and the exact unlock time follows Steam’s global release setting of 15:00 UTC. There is no Early Access period and no demo, so the countdown ends with the full game becoming playable.

Nivalis Nights passed one million Steam wishlists in mid-September, less than two weeks before launch. You can add it to your library queue on its Steam store page to be notified the moment it unlocks.

Nivalis Nights release times by region

Because everyone unlocks at the same moment, your local time depends only on your time zone. Here is how 15:00 UTC converts across major regions.

Where you can play Nivalis Nights

At launch, Nivalis Nights is PC only and releases through Steam. An Epic Games Store version is confirmed to follow later, but no date for it has been set. No PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Mac, or Linux versions have been announced, so it will not appear on Xbox Game Pass, PS Plus, or Nintendo Switch Online.

The game launches at $24.99 (€24.99 / £21.99) with a 10% discount during the first week. It is a single-player premium title with no microtransactions and no code redemption system.

PC system requirements

The voxel city, dense crowds, and dynamic weather make this a heavier PC build than the noodle-stand premise suggests. Check that your rig clears the minimum before launch.

  • OS: Windows 10 / 11 (64-bit)
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: dedicated GPU with 6 GB VRAM
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 30 GB available (SSD recommended)

What you actually do in Nivalis Nights

You start at the bottom of Nivalis, taking over a ramen stand called Ramen Noir in the Meridian Market district, and build up toward restaurants and nightclubs. Days revolve around sourcing ingredients, either from markets or by growing and fishing, then preparing food, opening your venue, hiring and scheduling staff, and deciding how to spend what is left of the day.

Away from the counter, you can pilot a boat across the city’s waterways, explore districts like Skyhigh Gardens and Lowtown, buy and decorate apartments, and form friendships, rivalries, or romances with a large voiced cast. The city has a darker layer too, with CorpSec curfews and an android serial killer named Aseptic adding risk to your late-night runs. It is a single-player experience played entirely at your own pace.

How to confirm it has launched

When the timer hits 15:00 UTC, the Steam store page switches from a wishlist button to a purchase and install button, and any pre-existing library entry becomes downloadable. If you own a copy, the game will show as ready to install rather than showing a release countdown. Until that switch happens, the store is still in its pre-launch state and no earlier access is available.
