Watch three hours of eligible Rainbow Six Siege streams before September 15 to claim the free Y11S3 charm.

Watch three hours of eligible Rainbow Six Siege streams before September 15 to claim the free Y11S3 charm.

The Smells Like Burning charm is the free reward tied to the launch of Operation Split Fire, Rainbow Six Siege Year 11 Season 3. It drops for players who link their Twitch and Ubisoft accounts and watch three hours of eligible Siege streams while the campaign is live.

Quick answer: Link your Twitch account to your Ubisoft account on the Drop Registration page, watch any channel streaming Rainbow Six Siege for a total of three hours before September 15, 2026, then claim the charm from your Twitch Drops inventory so it appears in-game.

The charm shows the new defender gadget next to the attacker utility it is built to counter, marking the arrival of Noor, the latest defender in Team Rainbow. It is the only reward in this Drops campaign, and it requires a single, cumulative three-hour watch total rather than a live one-sitting session.

That gives you a two-week window to earn the charm. Because the requirement is cumulative, you can split the three hours across multiple sessions and different channels.

How to earn the charm

Open the Ubisoft Drop Registration page and link the Twitch account you watch with to the Ubisoft account you use to play Rainbow Six Siege. This connection must be in place before your watch time will count.

Open any Twitch channel that is streaming Rainbow Six Siege. There is no need to pick a specific partner or official channel for this campaign, since any eligible Siege stream contributes to your total.
Keep the stream running until your combined watch time reaches three hours. You can close and reopen streams across the two-week window, and the hours will add up.
Go to your Twitch Drops inventory and claim the charm once it unlocks. After claiming, it is delivered to your in-game Rainbow Six Siege inventory.

How to confirm it worked

Progress appears on the active stream’s Drops icon, which fills as your watch time accumulates. Once the three-hour bar completes, the Smells Like Burning charm shows up as claimable in your Twitch Drops inventory.

After you claim it there, it moves to your Ubisoft account and appears in your Siege charm collection. If the charm is not in your inventory, the most common causes are an unlinked or mismatched account, watching before the campaign went live, or not yet clicking the manual claim button in the Twitch inventory.

Note: Delivery to the game can take a short while after claiming. Make sure the Ubisoft account linked to Twitch is the same one you actually play Rainbow Six Siege on, or the charm will not reach your locker.

The charm ships alongside the wider Operation Split Fire update, which adds Noor as a shield-counter defender, the new Legend Division for Ranked, a 3v3 Arcade mode, and a targeted update to Villa. The Drops campaign runs for the first two weeks of the season, so linking your accounts early and starting your watch time on day one leaves the most room to hit the three-hour mark before it closes.
