Palworld 1.0: 8 Secluded and Semi-Hidden Base Locations (With Coordinates)

Exact coordinates for eight tucked-away spots, from underground bunkers to island shelves, that keep your Palbox out of sight.

Exact coordinates for eight tucked-away spots, from underground bunkers to island shelves, that keep your Palbox out of sight.

Palworld 1.0 opened up two big new regions, a handful of fresh islands, and an aquatic building set that lets you plant a Palbox almost anywhere. That combination is a gift if you want a base that stays out of the way, whether that means dropping underground, claiming a lonely island, or floating over open water where raiders rarely bother you.

Quick answer: For the most hidden base in the game, drop your Palbox in the underground cavern at Sandstone Gate (-1281, -633). Only a single ladder shows at the surface once you build below.

8 secluded base spots and their coordinates

Every coordinate below points to a spot that is either physically hidden, hard for raids to reach, or set far enough away from traffic that you can build in peace. Copy the numbers straight into your in-game map.

Underground bases you can barely spot from the surface

The Sandstone Gate desert at -1281, -633 looks like nothing from above. Walk it slowly and you will find a small hole in the ground that drops into a large cavern. Set your Palbox down there and the only thing poking out at ground level is a ladder, which makes it the closest thing to a truly hidden mining base in Palworld 1.0.

If you want the same underground feel with a nicer view, head to the Sunreach sinkhole at -259, -1398. There is a pool of water at the bottom, real greenery, and several mineshaft tunnels punching out of the walls. It gives you natural verticality and cover while still looking like somewhere you would actually want to live.

Island plots that raids struggle to reach

Scouring Island at 409, -693 has some of the strangest terrain on the map. Giant stacked rock pillars rise straight out of the water with flat platforms on top, split by deep ravines and dotted with ancient statues. You can claim a single pillar as your own little island-within-an-island, or string a hanging base across the ravine if you want a build project. Keep an eye out for the island’s world boss while you scout the area.

Flame Pulse Island is one of the brand-new 1.0 islands, and its central shelf at 788, 457 is flat, workable, and far enough from the island’s hidden world boss that it will not wander into your base. Push your build toward the edge, and you can fold the natural lava flows into the design for a spot that feels genuinely tucked away.

Quiet waterside pools in Sunreach

The crystallized pool at -540, -1361 is shallow enough to drop foundations straight into the water, so you do not need the aquatic kit here. The surrounding ground is dead flat and wide open, which makes it a strong pick for a quiet showcase build with a glass floor over the glowing pool below.

Note: Pocketpair placed the Jetragon world boss in this pool. Build off to one side so stray aggro does not pull it onto your base Pals, and check its exact spawn on the map before you commit.

For something more dramatic, the terraced turquoise pools at -220, -1498 stack across several water levels. It is an advanced build because of the extreme verticality and awkward footing, and running water this dense causes a noticeable frame-rate dip while you place structures. The payoff is one of the most striking secluded spots on the map.

Aquatic Construction Kit builds far from land

You still cannot build inside the World Tree zone itself, but its foot at -1984, 1639 is the next best thing. It is a large, flat body of water ringed by lush jungle, and you will need the Aquatic Construction Kit to build out over the water there.

The most isolated option is the open ocean. With the aquatic building set you can plant foundations on any water on the map, and the coordinates 661, -60 drop you beside ancient stone pillars that are perfect to wrap a floating castle around. Any stretch of blue you like will work, so pick the quietest patch you can find.

Most of these secluded spots lean on two 1.0 systems. The permanent Aquatic Construction Kit unlocks water building for the World Tree foot and open ocean, and the map-wide resource buff keeps even out-of-the-way bases supplied. Both come from the Base and Raid Rework, so make sure you have the aquatic kit before you commit to a plot that sits over water.
