The Legend rank sits above Master as the toughest arena tier in Palworld 1.0, dropping you into Lv. 80 fights where enemy tamers field condensed, soul-boosted Pals. The fastest way through it leans on a single carry Pal, Orserk, whose partner skill stacks a huge attack and defense buff, backed by two high-damage area-of-effect Pals and a target-lock on the enemy tamer.
Quick answer: Run Orserk as your main Pal with two AoE subs (Ophydia, Shaolong, or Aegidron Def), fire a Legendary Drone Launcher at the start to stack Orserk’s Ferocious Thunder Dragon buff to 150%, then aim down sights and target-lock the enemy tamer so your Pals’ AoE wipes the whole enemy side at once.

Why Orserk carries the Legend rank
Orserk is a Dragon/Electric Pal, and its value in the arena comes almost entirely from its partner skill, Ferocious Thunder Dragon. Every bullet that hits while Orserk is your active Pal adds a 5% boost to its attack and defense. That stacks up to 30 times, which caps at a 150% increase to both stats.
That is why the Legendary Drone Launcher matters. It puts out a rapid burst of hits, so you can drive Orserk to the full 150% buff within the opening seconds of a match instead of building it slowly. All consumables and ammunition are refunded after each arena fight, so there is no cost to emptying the launcher every round.
Note: Arena teams use one main Pal plus two support Pals. Only the main Pal contributes its partner skill, which is exactly why Orserk needs to sit in the lead slot.

All five Pals are Lv. 80 with 98 Work Speed. Orserk is fixed as the main carry. You rotate the two support slots to match the enemy tamer, keeping high-damage AoE attackers up front and Aegidron Def or Moldron Cryst in when you want a sturdier body.
| Pal | Attack | Defense | Active skills |
|---|---|---|---|
| Orserk (main) | 5128 | 3520 | Polykeuraunos, Lightning Bolt, Meteorain |

Passive skills to run
The passives lean on survivability and raw damage. Immortality and Serenity appear on almost every Pal, while attack passives like Legend and Demon God push damage output higher. Diamond Body adds defense on the tankier bodies.
| Pal | Passives |
|---|---|
| Orserk | Immortality, Serenity, Diamond Body, Demon God |
| Ophydia | Serenity, Demon God, Immortality, Legend |
| Shaolong | Serenity, Demon God, Diamond Body, Immortality |
| Moldron Cryst | Lunker, Serenity, Immortality, Siren of the Void |
| Aegidron Def | Serenity, Legend, Diamond Body, Immortality |

Player gear and accessories
Your own loadout is built to do two things: stack Orserk’s buff quickly and amplify Pal damage. The Legendary Drone Launcher handles the buff stacking, while the four accessory slots pile on Pal attack, Pal defense, and Electric and Dragon damage to match Orserk’s typing.
| Item | Effect |
|---|---|
| Drone Launcher (Legendary) | Attack 240; used to stack Orserk’s buff |
| Dogen Emblem (Epic) | Attack Up Lv. 4, Pal Attack Up Lv. 4 |
| Lord of Lightning’s Baton (Epic) | Pal Attack Up Lv. 4, Pal Electric Damage Enhancement Lv. 4 |
| Divine Dragon’s Baton (Epic) | Pal Attack Up Lv. 4, Pal Dragon Damage Enhancement Lv. 4 |

How to run the fight

Confirming the win and common mistakes
A match ends the moment you knock out the opposing tamer or wipe their full Pal team. Either condition triggers the victory screen, and each win pays out Rank Points along with Battle Tickets you can spend at the merchant beside the arena. Losing subtracts Rank Points, so clean, fast clears protect your rank as much as they farm rewards.
Two errors cost most runs. Locking onto an enemy Pal instead of the tamer spreads your damage and drags the fight out, so keep the lock on the tamer. And skipping the drone burst at the start means Orserk never reaches its full buff, which leaves your team short on the damage it needs to end matches before the enemy’s condensed Pals punish you.
