The Legendary Ancient Armor is the top-tier version of the Ancient Armor added in the Palworld 1.0 update. You cannot build it from the tech tree like the standard armor. You first need the Legendary Ancient Armor Schematic in your inventory, and that blueprint only comes from a small pool of high-level loot spots.

Quick answer: Farm the Legendary Ancient Armor Schematic from Sky Island supply drops, treasure boxes, enemy camps, and fishing, or redeem a Legendary Treasure Map. All drop chances are under 0.3%, so the fastest guaranteed route is crafting it at a Drafting Table from ten copies of the Epic (Schematic 3) version.

Where the Legendary Ancient Armor Schematic drops

The schematic is tied to the Sky Island region and to Legendary Treasure Maps. Every source has a very low chance, so expect long runs before one appears. The Legendary Treasure Map has the highest single chance of any source.

SourceDrop rate
Legendary Treasure Map reward0.297%
Sky Island supply drops0.139%
Sky Island enemy camps0.074%
Sky Island treasure boxes0.062%
Second Sky Island area chests0.038%
Sky Island enemy camp end reward0.03%
Second Sky Island fishing0.055%
Sky Island fishing0.014%

Treasure Maps are worth prioritizing because they point to a fixed spot on your map instead of relying on a random chest roll. Follow the marked area, dig up the reward, and you have a chance at the schematic each time. The Ancient Armor blueprints also turn up as recycling rewards from Ancient Relics, so hold onto relics you gather in these areas.

Legendary Ancient Armor is a 1.0 item, so it will not appear in older worlds that have not moved to that version.

Craft the schematic instead of farming it

You do not have to rely on random drops. A Drafting Table lets you convert lower-rarity blueprints into the Legendary tier. If you have collected enough copies of the Epic version, you can upgrade them directly.

Because the Epic version shares the same Sky Island loot pools at higher rates, stacking those and combining them is usually faster than waiting for the Legendary blueprint to drop on its own.

Legendary Ancient Armor crafting materials

Once the schematic is in your inventory, you can build the armor at an Ancient Workbench. The blueprint must stay in your inventory, not in a storage box, or the recipe will not appear. The material cost is double that of the standard Ancient Armor.

ItemMaterials
Legendary Ancient Armor Legendary Ancient ArmorSoralite Ingot x60
AI Core x6
Ancient Civilization Parts x9

The finished armor carries Cold Resistance Lv. 2, Heat Resistance Lv. 2, and Attack Up (S) Lv. 4, so it covers both climates while adding an offensive bonus. For comparison, the standard Ancient Armor unlocks at Level 68 for 5 Technology Points and costs only Soralite Ingot x30 and AI Core x3.

Legendary vs standard Ancient Armor stats

Every stat on the Legendary version is higher than the standard Ancient Armor, which makes it a straight upgrade with no trade-offs. The biggest gap is durability, which is four times larger.

Defense1040800
HP31202400
Durability10000025000

How to confirm you can craft it

Pick up the Legendary Ancient Armor Schematic and keep it in your character inventory. If it sits in a chest or Pal storage, the recipe stays hidden.
Walk up to an Ancient Workbench and open its crafting menu. The Legendary Ancient Armor entry will show only when the schematic is on you and you have the Soralite Ingot, AI Core, and Ancient Civilization Parts ready.
Start the craft. When it finishes, the armor lands in the workbench output with the higher Defense, HP, and durability values, confirming you built the Legendary version rather than the standard one.

If the recipe never appears, the usual cause is the schematic being stored instead of carried, or missing one of the three material types. Sort out those two things first before checking anything else.
