The ghost-and-body split in her fight
Once the battle begins, Pink’s two halves pull in opposite directions, which explains her strange shop demeanor. The Darkner body loves dating and tries to keep the fight’s DATE mechanic going as long as possible. The ghost is repulsed by it and physically tries to stop the DATE, afraid that someone might want her body more than she does. The ghost is rude and brash while the body is kind and loving, and they separate during the second DATE.
Mechanically, she uses the purple SOUL mode, so your SOUL can only travel along the straight lines in the battle box. Your TP cap drops to 8 at the end of each phase, but collecting pink hearts during her attacks restores TP and HP and pushes the cap back up. All damage against her is negated, since she has 0 DF and every attack against her has no effect.

Defeating Pink opens the 7 Colored Flowers’ hidden room and grants access to their items. Her shop dialogue also changes afterward, shifting toward someone preparing to leave once the Fountain is sealed. If you only saw her once before the fight, returning to the Cliffs shop afterward shows both the new lines and Orange standing alongside her, which is the clearest on-screen proof of who the masked merchant really was.
