Japan-exclusive Birthday Audino
This gift is only available at Pokémon Centers in Japan. During your birth month, visit any participating location with your Nintendo Switch and a document that confirms your date of birth. Staff will hand you a code for an Audino. The in-store distribution runs through October 31, 2026, and codes issued at the counter must be redeemed by January 31, 2027.
How to redeem Mystery Gift codes in Pokémon Legends: Z-A
The Mystery Gift feature unlocks after you speak with Magnolia during the third main quest — roughly an hour into the game. An internet connection is required for every redemption, but a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not. A free Nintendo Account is all you need.
PREPAR1NG, select Get with Code/Password, type the code into the text box, and press OK. For internet-only gifts like the Garchompite Z bundle or the Mewtwonite sets, select Get via Internet instead.
Each Mystery Gift can only be claimed once per save file. The PREPAR1NG code and the Garchompite Z internet gift both remain active until March 31, 2027, so there is no urgent rush — but the Birthday Audino codes distributed at Japanese Pokémon Centers carry a shorter window, expiring January 31, 2027.
